Unreliable, rude, unhelpful staff and shortage of towels. One staff said I can keep my luggage on the messages but that day there is no one who keeps my luggage. I called the phone. Another staff takes the phone, they can't keep the luggage and yelled at me that who is it( about keeping luggage). There are so many stories but it is too long story. Shortly l, they confused their policy and yelled at me but never apologizeed it. Lastly, I'm not a good English speaker. When I didn't undersatnd their speaking, they annoyed to me. I visited a lot of countries. No one has ever been rude to me for not speaking English fluently.

Great apartment complex in the city center. Just a few walking minutes away from all major shops & restaurants. Great kitchen & bathroom. The beds were very comfy. Overall it was very good value for money. Some people complained about the self check-in which was very easy & smooth for us. Would stay here again!

Very nice apartment in a great location. Comfortable bed, clean unit and good consistent Wi-Fi. No front desk or human presence and communication entirely via email, with prompt response. Very satisfied and wonderful stay. Highly recommend. Thank you.

This was our least favorite place that we stayed in Iceland. The hallways smelled funky, kind of like a grandma’s closet. The in-room guide said that we could request a complimentary refill of coffee but when we asked they said would not provide any. They do not have onsite parking which was unclear when we booked our hotel room. This was the least hospitable hotel that we stayed in.

Clean and spacious. Great location. Able to park for free five minutes walk away.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. I spent 3 nights as a solo traveller - felt safe, it was very conveniently located near bus stop #9 for all my tours, and there was a convenience store and restaurants just across the street. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and having a kitchen in the suite really helped. I would there again.

Was just what we were looking for.

Large, well decorated flat with nice views. Absolutely no issues. Clear communication.

The building and rooms were clean and cozy, we enough space to be comfortable. I would maybe skip on the breakfast, it was just a breadbun and croissant per person, and a slice of cheese, butter and small marmalede/jam. There is also no coffee machine, a part from a nespresso. So we were happy to have brought coffee bags. But the location is great, everything was walking distance, and just in general happy to have stayed in Hlemmur suites. :) thumps up.

This was an exceptional apartment in a great location for excursion pick-ups and shopping, with a wide variety of different restaurants within a 10 min walk.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hlemmur Suites! The apartment was very spacious, clean, and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after exploring Reykjavík. The customer service was excellent: super responsive and accommodating. On the check-out date, I had a small issue when the laundry machine wouldn’t open because the drum was still hot. The staff responded quickly and even offered us a one-hour late check-out, which I really appreciated. The location is also great—just steps away from bus stop #9, which made it so easy to take the Flybus from the airport to BSI and transfer directly to the apartment. Overall, I’m very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend Hlemmur Suites to anyone visiting Iceland!

Hlemmur was in the perfect location being centrally located. We were able to walk just about everywhere except for the Perlan. The bus stop was around the corner and the Bonus grocery was a 5 min walk. The apartment looked exactly like the photos and we were able to cook. The people we emailed were great and responsive. Only downside was the elevator which felt like it had seen better days and made my child nervous. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A fabulous apartment in a great and quiet part of Reykjavik. Right on the main shopping street and a couple of blocks from the seafront. Recommend.

Hlemmur is unattended… 4 PM Check-in means standing in the freezing rain at 3:55 waiting for the code to work.
