Very clean room, nice staff, good breakfast. Amazing views

Annie was truly the soul of the place. She greeted us cheerfully every time we met and made sure we were well looked after. The view from the main terrace, pool area, and our cottage was spectacular – directly facing the English Harbour. While the premises could benefit from a little uplift, the rustic style added a cosy and authentic charm.

Staff was super friendly. Beautiful view, the self-service bar is lovely to grab a beer and sit by the pool overlooking the water. The room was standard but nice, equipped with AC and a mini fridge. Surprisingly good shower.

The staff was exceptional, the view was spectacular. The self serve bar was a nice touch. But our cottage seemed to be unfinished after a recent renovation: no towel bars or soap dishes in the bathroom, no mirror over the sink, a bathroom door that would not close. But very close to English Harbor and many good restaurants.

Great little property with fantastic views of English Harbour, It is walkable to supermarket shops and Nelson’s Dockyard and English harbour . At the time we were there , there was renovation work going on so the property was not at its best. The staff are great and extremely welcoming. Their breakfast offering can be improved. Their staff is brilliant excellent and welcoming . A big shout out to Annie, Selwyn and Edgar . They are great .The place could not run without them.

Service was really good by Robert and Annie, but it was warm in the lobby/breakfast area.

Wonderful staff, comfy bed and room and great AC and views

Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. view of English Harbor was beautiful, breakfast had a nice selection including fresh cut fruit (a must have for me) daily. The owner even gave me a ride down the hill on my departure so I could catch my cab to the airport.

My wife and I spent a beautiful week in English Harbour and with good fortune landed at The Ocean Inn. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Robert and Annie were fantastic hosts—warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. We were on an exploratory mission searching for our forever home in Antigua and Robert and Annie were always ready to give us valuable intel on the area. Our room was a standalone cabin with a private bathroom and balcony that looked out over the stunning views of English Harbour. The dining area where we had breakfast always had the cool breezes blowing while we sipped coffee or drinks overlooking the amazing views of English harbour and all the way to top of Shirley heights. The shared pool was always inviting and overlooking the same awesome view. The honesty bar was a clever touch to grab a glass of rum to sip overlooking the harbour. We had rented a car and appreciated the on-site parking making exploring the island effortless. This place is a gem that has more character and personality than the big resorts. It’s in an amazing location—within walking distance of everything in English Harbour including groceries and just literally a few minutes drive to Galleon Beach and Shirley Heights. Sunset dinner at Loose Cannon is a must. Highly recommend Ocean Inn for your stay in Antigua.

Fantastic place to stay. Simple as that.

Fantastisk utsikt, trevlig liten, varm pool, trevligt med självservering och ”uppskrivning” i baren, mycket trevlig värd och gott om parkeringsplatser. På minussidan: frukosten är av det enklaste slaget och man behöver ha en insektsspray med sig då vi hittade flera stora kackerlackor. Lätt löst om man spreyar hela rummet rejält när man kommer och går ut en sväng så är alla döda sen. Vi hittade en levande i badrummet när vi kom och tre döds efter att vi hade sprayat. Det drog ner upplevelsen en smula men stället är jättefint annars, värt 2-3 stjärnor. Läget är bra också med några få minuters körning till öns bästa utsiktsplats, Shirley hights och nära till sting-ray-turerna. En hel del restauranger finns på gångavständ, nere i byn, den i Marinan rekommenderas för god service, mat och goda drinkar, drivs av en trevlig kanadensiska.

Wonderful views

We went as a family of three with our 8 year old. We were in one of the top Cabins and it felt like home away from home. Our little one loved the pool and couldn't get enough of it. The continental breakfast gave a few options and did the job

I stayed at the Ocean Inn in Antigua and it was absolutely beautiful! The views were stunning, the service was excellent, and the host was so warm and welcoming. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the island.

Host Robert was brilliant, from sorting taxis to suggesting things to do locally. Breakfast was continental, which was fine. Rooms, although basic were clean and tidy with amazing views of English Harbour which was a 10-15min walk. Beds were comfy. Overall a brilliant stay and would definitely stay again..

You could never tire of the glorious view from this place. The staff are smiley, lovely and welcoming, everything is very relaxed. Perfect breakfast served every day which is a blessing and nice touches like a water dispenser available. It's in a fantastically handy location, you can walk to English Harbour & the dockyard. Don't come expecting 'perfection' as it does need some renovations, but it has oodles of Caribbean charm, a nice pool to cool off in and a bar for sundowners. We'd definitely stay again.
