Floralis Suites by Be Local

We had a good size suite overlooking a cute courtyard with a small pool. Buenos Aires was very hot, so a dip in the pool was a welcome treat after a day of sight seeing. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the air conditioner was heaven. The balcony is accessed through wall to wall sliding patio doors, which made the suite feel larger. The only thing we did not like was the lack of a closet. But since we were only spending 2 days, we made do with wall hooks and hangers that the hotel provided for our use. This was the second time we ran into this situation in Buenos Aires. So, be sure to read the fine print. If there is a closet, it will be listed as an amenity or feature of the room. Imagine! The other bit of advice I can offer is to bring your own pillow along. Very few places in Argentina had good pillows. A piece of hard foam stuck in a pillow case, seems to be the standard in Argentina.

They messaged 2 weeks before checking-in to provide information. Communicated by whatsapp which was easy and the apartment is nice and clean, I got a 1-bedroom apartment instead of studio shown in pictures. My main problem lies with the hassle of checking in and out. I do not recommend this place if you are arriving late and/or need to check-out early which was my case and also if you just wish to stay for 1 or 2 nights. Check-in time only between 2-8pm, my flight arrived at 10pm and I estimated arriving around midnight. They offered 2 options, first to pay USD25 for checking in 8pm-12am or USD40 for after midnight. Other option which I chose was to get the keys from a key box not far away, clear instructions were given BUT imagine doing so with luggage, even a few minutes walk will feel like a dread not to mention the stress for someone who just arrived a new city trying to look for a place at this late hour. Check-out time need to be 'prebooked' which again is a pain, have to wait for staff to come and check. Furthermore, USD20 cleaning fee on top of the room rate so worked out to be an expensive stay, not worth it unless you stay for over a week. Plus USD300 deposit. I had stayed in serviced apartments and none had such stringent policies. Although the building and the apartment are nice, all the hassle and surcharge made the stay not worth it.

I love this condo. It is clean, centrally located and the be local associates are so kind and kept in contact at all times. I like the area, close to many restaurants and bars. It is super fun. Thanks for everything!

Très beau logement, bien équipé, spacieux et confortable. Piscine, machine à laver et salle de sport collectifs au rdc. Également bien situé, proche des bars et restaurants de Palermo. Supermarché à 1min à pieds. Le gros point positif est l'équipe de BeLocal. Maria nous a extrêmement bien accueillis et fournis de précieux conseils sur Buenos Aires. Merci encore ;) Les personnes qui repondent à Whatsapp sont ultra réactives et il y a même une permance H24 pour les urgences.
