I highly recommend a stay at the Rendez-Vous hotel in Palermo, Buenos Aires. It’s a calm, stylish place in a lovely part of the city. The room was kept spotless each day by the wonderful staff, the bed was super comfortable, and the room was nice and ambient. The owners are sophisticated, worldly and kind-hearted professionals. They run a great ship here. Breakfast each morning is fresh and made and presented with care. And you have the backdrop of a stylish interior with soothing music playing in the background. Everything I needed was there, and it was set out with simple good taste. Je vous remercie pour votre accueil discret et chaleureux. À la prochaine. The hotel, overall, was very impressive. It was clean and well staffed. They offered a very nice breakfast. The location was perfect and close to Palermo area. The rooftop was very inviting, however, the pool that’s advertised is more like a Jacuzzi. But, nonetheless, perfect with a great view. We had a junior suite and ordered twin beds. The room was quiet. The only problems I had with the room was there was not one chair to sit in. If you needed to set, you had to sit on one of the beds. The other issue was in the bathroom. Even though it had a huge imprrrssive Jacuzzi bathtub and a nice rainhead shower, there was no lighting for the hanging mirror above the vanity. It was very hard for me to see to even shave, so I don’t know how women would apply their make up. In addition, there’s a window behind the mirror, which makes it even harder to see with the back lighting. They could really make a difference if they could just attach some lights to the hanging oval mirror and add a couple of chairs to sit in. I’m not sure what the other rooms are like because it’s a smaller hotel– almost like a bed-and-breakfast so each one may be different from the other. The safe in the room did not work well and ended up not responding to our Code and we were given a key to get in and out of it. I would recommend this hotel but I would ask about the lighting and furniture before booking. As an additional note, the staff was amazing and very welcoming..

A suíte é aconchegante mas a cama King tinha uma falha bem no meio que sacrificava as costas de quem caía nela, contudo o colchão é macio e a roupa de cama muito agradável ao toque. A paredes em torno da banheira apresentavam manchas e mofo no teto, mas a hidromassagem funcionava bem e era bem quente e relaxante. Os funcionários da manhã eram muito prestativos, simpáticos e cordiais, especialmente o Frederick e a funcionária do café da manhã que sempre oferecia e preparava ovos fritos. Um ponto de destaque para as medialunas deliciosas e a playlist maravilhosa tocada no café-da-manhã. Porém, havia um funcionário no turno da noite que era antipático, mal-humorado e estressado, além de demorar uma eternidade para abrir a porta quando chegávamos nas noites frias. O elevador faz muito barulho tanto durante o uso para quem está dentro, quanto durante a noite para quem está no quarto. Entre pontos positivos e negativos, eu recomendo o hotel e repetiria a estadia lá.

I wish I could give five stars for a review because the staff was so amazing but I can’t help but mention the loud elevator function while we were trying to sleep on the 3rd floor. There is something seriously wrong with the elevator and it sounded like it was going to crash through our wall every time it stopped on our floor. Some very loud and strange sounds. If they are unaware of this issue, I’m sure they are now. But it’s literally impossible not to hear it. Maybe some maintenance is in order.

Hotel is in a great location to wonderful restaurants and bars in BA, but the hotel staff were either really helpful or not helpful at all. Rooms are small but ample, nice big showers. That said, my friend who was staying in another room said he could hear every movement of the elevator from his room 24 hours a day, and he actually had to change rooms after one night.

The owner was an absolute champ and gave us recommendations (the good ones) and tips about the area. The hotel is great as well as the staff! Situated in the heart of Palermo, you can access all the cool coffee shops, restaurants and shops. Enjoy!

The mattress was no good then in the second unit that they put us in the water pressure was almost 0 the elevator was loud throughout the night and then they had construction above us starting at 4 AM. The worst experience we've ever had. We moved on to a new location.
