Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa

To have a good experience the staff needs to be welcoming and respectful. And that is certainly true at Manchebo. Best beach in Aruba helps too. Good variety of restaurant options, both at Manchebo and in walking distance. The Manchebo beach area is lower key then the “hi-rise” hotel district, avoid there if you can.

Wonderful stay! The location is perfect and the beach is beautiful! The staff was wonderful! We felt cared for and right at home. The room was comfortable and clean. Ike's Bistro was fantastic for breakfast and dinner! There was no problem getting a palapa every day and they are spaced far enough so you have some privacy. We will definitely stay here again!

Really good food, amazing staff and excellent drinks. Such a warm and friendly environment. The all inclusive package is totally worth it. A huge shout out to Julian, our beachside server!

Manchebo did not disappoint! If you are looking for a smaller, uncrowded, fabulous beach experience with great food and staff...this is the place for you! My husband and are in our mid-sixties and appreciated not having to fight for lounges & shade each day. We loved not having children and loud young people acting a fool while we relaxed (although the weekend was more crowded as all beaches are open to the public in Aruba-just so you are aware). Our ocean view room and balcony was perfect. We walked on the beach in both directions to find places to stop for a drink or bite to eat ... although Machebo has 4 great restaurants & we tried each one, we also like to venture out and could easily. The front desk helped arrange a couples massage (on site), golf outing, a snorkel trip and a car rental so we could see more of this beautiful island. Highly recommend renting a car but know that the National Park closes at 4:00, so plan accordingly if that is something you'd like to include (we will have to go back and do that as we didn't know and ran out of time). I do wish they had a few more amenities like corn hole, shuffle board, back gammon table or even a pool table but yoga/pilates every morning and the gym was nice. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful property and great location!

The room was fine but besides Andrew and Brandon, the staff was not accommodating. My last day there, the beach person decided not to believe I was a guest of the hotel and wouldn't seat me under the shade since they were for guests. Finally, he got me a chaise but no towels in the sun. Hours later, the chaises under the shade had still not been used and I was upset to the point of tears and burnt. Mind you, you can only get to the beach from the hotel. Even though they knew I was there for my birthday, they didnt acknowledge it until I inquired because I heard other guests talk about how they received champagne and decorations in their room upon arrival. If you have to ask, it defeats the purpose. At dinner my 1st night, I had to wait 20 minutes before I could be seated even though I had a reservation and then I had to wait 30 minutes after I was finished before I was asked about dessert. The restaurant had emptied out and I was one of the last patrons. I was not told about the amenities or the spa or how to book them. Most places tell you about them so you use them. Not here. Nothing about helping with excursions or what services could be had at the spa. You need cash for taxis. Thank goodness for Andrew as he escorted me there so I could withdraw cash. It was a 5 minute walk; each way. Front desk expected me to find it on my own Any goodwill I had was destroyed when I was denied seating on the beach. Manchebo has a beautiful quiet location on Eagle Beach overlooking the warm and calm waters of the Caribbean, but what made it the most memorable we the incredibly friendly staff who provide outstanding hospitality. All the staff was amazing but specifically Andrew, Jean and Anika. We look forward to our next stay at the Manchebo!

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at this resort, and we would gladly stay there again. Room service was fantastic, and the staff was warm and hospitable. I had the Aruban breakfast at Ike's every morning which was very tasty, and after I got injured during an excursion outside of the resort the front desk staff gave me first aid which I really appreciated.

Room was spotless. You receive free shampoo,conditioner, lotion and body wash..big containers of it so no need to pack all that stuff. The staff is so great, we became friends on facebook lol

The room was clean enough, but could definitely be upgraded. The balconies were too small. You can barely get around the chairs. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa, Aruba was amazing! Staff were professional, friendly and attentive. Room was clean & provided everything to make stay comfortable (complimentary water bottles, tea & coffee in room, cooler to take to the beach, robe & slippers, etc). Restaurants & Bar are located on the property and easily accessible. Property was beautiful and very clean! Shopping & Casino located across the street.

Room was spotless and cleaned each day. The Spa was clean and treatment was wonderful. The pool and beach area were well maintained & clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and service was great.

WE arrived Sunday early afternoon and on Monday night after eating felt poisoned with violent and frequent vomiting along with sever diarrhea . Over the next 18 hours my stomach was completely emptied with dry heaves and watery diarrhea . Wednesday night my wife fell ill with the same suffering . We were bed ridden for most of our luxury vacation . The manager Edgar does not see his resort as in any way responsible and refunded us $1,800.00 for our over $6,200.00 luxury stay . I fell ill 1 1/2 days after our arrival , 2 hours after a meal and my wife was strickened 2 days later and 2 hours after eating .. Maybe the Manchebo Beach Resort was not responsible , but may they were . Do take that risk . MAYBE !!!
