Terrible- overwhelming and overpowering scent from diffuser that lingered strongly even when diffuser put outside. Could not get the smell out- windows and door open, aircon and exhaust fan in bathroom on. Ended up sleeping in the car instead of suffer headache from intense smell.

My room was very good, clean and great blinds for darkness, what I read need to sleep. It was also nice and quiet. My daughter’s room was close to the road and said the traffic noise made it hard to sleep good though!

There was rubbish under the bed from previous guests.

Great place to stay, certainly not upmarket, but has all the plusses, quality and friendly service. Clean rooms, tidy outdoors and everything worked as it should have. Will certainly be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Admiral Motel. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. We wanted to use the bbq and they had a box ready with all the utensils and bits you need. The rooms were spacious and clean for our family room (two connected rooms in fact). The only thing is the place is quite dated and worn, I imagine not much had been done in our room since the place was built. To be honest it would probably ruin the feel of the place if they changed it though. So don’t expect luxury, but in terms of function it was good. There were also plenty of mugs, plates and cutlery so with that and the bbq you could actually self cater, which is a great as a family to keep costs down. Would definitely consider again when visiting Bunbury.

We stayed with work and all was fine. Will stay again.

I loved the fact that we weren't charged a bond!!! The bloke who checked us in stated that we weren't suspicious looking people so we were not charged a bond at all. Paying a bond can be so stressful because sometimes it takes forever to get the bond back & last time we stayed at the lighthouse they stuffed up big time. Loved staying at the Admiral & will definitely stay there again in future.

Enjoyed staying with you. Great prices, lovely room and close to everything. Never had a meal but could see lots of guests through the glass windows. Menu looked great. We had so much to do with friends that we ran out of time to experience everything. Will stay again though. Thanks!

Excellent customer service, very convenient location

Fit for purpose

Pleasant and helpful reception staff. The accommodation is very basic which was anticipated but the room was truly grim. This property is in dire need of updating. I had booked and paid for two nights in a family room (two queens plus single beds) but only stayed for one night. Half of the advertised space had been locked off to me therefore I only had access to one queen bed which had a food-encrusted doona cover, noticed too late at night to request a replacement. There is no daily servicing at all although this is currently advertised on Expedia. Servicing is only every second day and there is no servicing at all on weekends. The space itself was okay for cleanliness and the bed was comfortable enough, it’s just a shame that the linens are in such a poor state; the bedding is old and stained, towels are frayed and thin with age. Expect noisy neighbours and a busy road outside your unit. If you proceed to make a booking, bring earplugs.
