Discovery Parks - Argylla

It was quiet at night. The cabin was great and provided all the amenities we needed. It was a perfect place to stay at a very reasonable price.

Over night stay, travelling through country QLD.

Cabin was clean and easy parking.

Our cabin was clean and tidy, plenty of space for parking. Had no issues with things being disturbed or taken and we were advised to keep things locked and or tided down. Very friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint is l like a more firmer bed and the queen bed was to soft for me but l could sleep in the bunk and it was perfect

Proximity to the main road made it a bit noisy. Otherwise fine.

Nice location out of city, some road noise but it wasn't a bother. Parking right next to the cabin, very relaxing.

Check in and out was easily completed and the staff I dealt with when checking in & out were approachable, friendly, & polite. Although accomodation used (Standard Cabin) was older & dated, the caravan park has spent money on refurbishing the cabin (interior paint, vinyl floor planking, & linen). The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were near new.

I was happy with my stay and would recommend to anyone interested in accommodation in Mt Isa

Really enjoyed my stay the only complaint I would have is the bunk mattresses are extremely uncomfortable. I even put the mattress on the floor and slept and it wasn’t any improvement. Other than that nice Caravan Park.

Horrible scammers. I paid and booked a room to stay overnight on 7 Oct 2024 through WotIf. However, I never received check in instructions. I called the property and left a voicemail. Still did not reply. Therefore I had to pay again for another hotel to stay overnight. The Wotif team tried to arrange me a refund but they were unable to do that coz the Discovery Parks did not agree to. On the other hand, the Icon at Mt Isa I stayed because Discovery Parks did not facilitate my check in even after charging money was so helpful. Avoid this place scammers by all cost. Stay at other places.

Upgraded on arrival was a lovely surprise. Comfortable soft bed and furniture. The heating couldn’t keep up with the chilly nights and mornings. Needed 3 blankets and the heater running to keep warm. Was a bit disappointed with the wifi as your limited. This day and age wifi should be unlimited and free in the price of the rental.

Easy to find this property and within walking distance to the shops.

Nice cabin, very good value for the price. Internet sucked in the cabin but worked fine outside the reception.

Advertised as “superior” but fell way short of comparable cabins we stayed in Alice Springs & Longreach. Overpriced at $314 per night for what was a bog standard 2 bed cabin.

I loved staying very friendly place, makes you feel at home. Definitely will stay here again hopefully soon.

Best part was leaving. The unit was filthy, so was the elec frying pan and no dishwashing liq. The walls were a patchwork quilt and some paint had been poorly applied. Tiles left half cut, walls patched and not finished. The bathroom exhaust fan had not seen water in months. At $170/night it was appalling
