Cozy hotel in Sandy bay. Easy to go to Salamanca market. The room is super clean and well decorated. Reasonable price. Staff are friendly.

The room was excellent, total hidden gem this place is. Secure card tap to enter the building. The bed was comfy, beautiful cotton sheets and snuggly warm doonas, fluffy towels, room well equip with fridge etc, bathroom clean and fabulous shower. Staff here are excellent they love their jobs and it shines out of them!! Shops all around, lots of choices for meals, though the property has a fabulous restaurant with delicious affordable meals & excellent service. Buses out the front door, Salamanca & the heart of Hobart just around the corner, excellent base for exploring the Huon Valley, Cygnet, Richmond areas. The carpark has 2 entries for convenience. And is safe & secure, well lit at night. We stayed 3 nights and it was excellent

We had a fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. Although we enjoyed the location, we needed a change of accommodation due to our twin beds and they handled it efficiently. We’re already looking forward to returning! Thank you so much again :)

Good location, easy walk to Salamanca Market. Clean rooms, friendly staff and good restaurant.

Clean room, fast and easy check in process. Friendly staff. Just be aware that there is no elevator and you have to drag luggage on the second floor. Walkable to downtown with convenient restaurant nearby. WIFI is slow.

It was a nice hotel would have gave it five stars if it wasn’t for the cleaning service which was insufficient from time to time. Otherwise an excellent stay and can really recommend this place!

DO NOT STAY HERE I recently endured a three-night stay at this hotel and unfortunately cannot recommend it. To begin on a positive note, the bar staff were friendly and professional, and the food and service in the pub were excellent. Sadly, that is where the positives end. The room itself was extremely small (approximately 3m x 3m) with a very cramped ensuite. There is a window above the bed which can only be opened about 7 cm, even with significant effort. I stayed in Room 8 and strongly advise others to avoid it. Directly outside the window, roughly two metres away on the roof of the main building, sits a condenser unit for the hotel’s air-conditioning system. This unit cycles on and off throughout the entire night, creating constant noise and vibration that made sleep extremely difficult. The bed was the most concerning issue. The double mattress was in very poor condition — the springs could literally be felt and pinched through the top surface. This is not an exaggeration. The mattress was uneven and uncomfortable to the point where proper rest was impossible. After politely raising the issue with staff the following morning, I was offered an extra doona to place over the mattress rather than a replacement room. I requested to move rooms but was told none were available. On my second day, I spoke with another guest who had just completed a week-long stay. When asked about her experience, she became visibly upset and explained she had also suffered from similar issues

The room was very clean and well appointed. Recent renovations meant the bathroom was really nice. The room was very quiet even though it was next to the hotel. We were surprised how good it was for the price. However the restaurant prices were higher than expected. The meals from the bar were more reasonably priced, being all $20 there.

House keeping knocked on the door , said house keeping and opened the door straight away, didn't wait opened the door straight away. I could of been doing anything, i could of been naked 😩 the receptist on the day of check in spoke to me like i was 10,a bit of customer service would of been nice. A lady from house keeping and one from the bar very nice . I was in room 6 the out door exsorsre fan was a bit close amd noisy. .
