Staff at check in and check out were AMAZING! Meal from the restaurant was also incredible, I will definitely stay again!

Over priced

No comfortable place to sit in room, room size suitable for qs bed only. Parking area needs a good blower to clean up the rubbish. On positive, beds really comfy, breakfasts good.

The venue was run down and there was no facilities to grab a snack or a vending machine or anything on site. I have never been to a place like this that had nothing available after 8pm. The continental breakfast was extremely disappointing and I was so embarrassed to even say anything in front of my kids as this was supposed to be a special mum and kids trip. We ended up going to maccas after checkout!

Beautiful resort feel

Have lived in Geelong for years and only just discovered Eden Oak. This place is brilliant and I will definitely be staying here again. It is sooooo quiet.

Breakfast has been downgraded. We have been here 4 times and breakfast was excellent always. This time there were hardly any options and even the quantity of breakfast was very limited. One of the reasons for staying at eden oak was its breakfast. So we were very disappointed with the breakfast quality and quantity both.

I loved everything about this property tucked into the botanical gardens I felt like I was on a retreat. So close by car to the city centre and also the beach. The weather was cold and wet but I loved being at this property it was peaceful and calming and I want to come back!!

Beautiful setting in native garden surrounds. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Rooms were nicely renovated and comfortable. Some common areas could do with some work and the parking near the rooms was a bit confusing.

This is our regular getaway go to and have been numerous times over the past four years. Staff were lovely and accomodating. Super comfy bed! Shower is our favourite! Streaming services available. Room was a lot cleaner than what we had with previous owners. Quiet, safe and family friendly. Beautiful location. The only downfall was breakfast. Definitely not what it used to be at all. Minimal options and all hot food was cold (and tasteless) already early into breakfast hours. Last visit we went the last hour of service where there was hardly anything left. This time we went earlier and again another disappointment. Minus the breakfast, it was a great stay as always!

The rooms were freezing and quite outdated. The bathroom was nice, though the shower head was over the bath tap and faucet which was a problem. The corridors were very cold, silent and had a strange, almost creepy atmosphere when walking through them. Breakfast was the worst buffet I’ve ever experienced — barely any options and no staff present. The bar was also left completely unattended. Over our entire two-day stay, we saw no more than three staff members, including the person at the front desk.

Four days have passed with no reply from Eden Oak to my email identifying my poor experience. I see other guests have identified the same issue as me, yet Eden Oak continues a practise that guarantees their guests will have a terrible night stay. Here's the email I sent: My partner and I stayed Saturday night at your beautiful hotel. We enjoyed everything about it - except trying to sleep. We were in Room 202 which connects directly with an internal door to 205. Unfortunately for us, the person or couple in 205 were talking loud and late and I had to call the office number at 2am to come and give them a noise warning. They immediately quietened and I was able to sleep. They weren’t partying, just talking loudly which just should not have been an issue. These rooms should not be available to book independently - the internal doorway means that there is no soundproofing at all. I discussed this on departure and the kind front of house recommended raising this via email. I’d appreciate a goodwill refund or credit.
