Loved the little boat house room, very unique, the stay included a beautiful continental breakfast which was very well setup and plentiful. The gardens and landscape are beautiful, the pool, lobby and deck area were very comfortable and beautiful. Nice comfortable hanging basket chairs to relax in. Highly recommend this location. Great restaurant on site as well , Northerlies, good food large portions. Great atmosphere, good for kids too

Amazing location with beautiful ocean views, quiet, clean with heated pool and excellent onsite restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful, highly recommend staying here!

Wow, what a wonderful little hideaway and piece of paradise. Staff fabulous, pool heated and soo nice, the boat cabins were so cosy and well appointed. View and breakfast fabulous we will be back

The serenity of the place is amazing. There are a view seating areas outside and the pool is heated. While you can feel the mass tourism in Airlie Beach, in Freedom Shores there is a calm and relaxing atmosphere and not a trace of noise. It is great to relax. At breakfst there is fresh fruit and you can take it to your room or somewhere else. As usual in Australia, there is no cheese or a choice of non-sweet options. Healthy options are available non the less. I did not have time to go but next to the hotel is a restaurant that belongs to the same owners that even locals love and drive out to. Sadly, the beautiful ship-shaped bungalows no longer have sea view but still are sold as sea-view. So you have to make a choice: the most beautiful rooms without a view or spacious suites with view. Seaview is really important to me. If you are okay with tropical trees from the room and sea-view from the common areas, you will be very happy in all rooms of this place because it is a well-maintained place with a lot of options.

I did NOT want to leave. From the bed to the views to the heated pool to the overall ambiance this place is perfect. Wish we had more then one night!

Highly recommended.Amazing location and great service, friendly staff. The only problem is that the hotels promise of Silver Exclusives: 1 Free beverage was not fulfilled. No big deal, will choose again for next stay.

Unique concept. School holidays but private, quiet, no kids. Great pool area, awesome dining options. The beachouse units are unique and comforable. Loved it thanks. Will be back

Super romantic and beautiful

Perfect peaceful getaway for couples. A bit away from the main area of Airlie Beach so a car is handy to explore. Staff were so friendly and breakfast is a perfect start to the day!

Amazing parking was just a little far. Need to have a car for this place but it was WELL worth it. It was excellent all round. Highly recommend. Staff were amazing, property amazing. Favourite place I stayed on our trip of 10 hotels (some much more expensive)

Friendly staff, lovely continental breakfast, quiet, easy walk over to restaurant and bar. Beautiful outlook.

I was advised that there is a complimentary shuttle bus and can be adjust if any of us need the bus earlier than 11am but didn’t mention that there is a strict 11am starting route . That’s why I booked with Freedom Shores even they are quite far from the center (15-20 mins driving )but if I had to choose again the distance will put me off rebooking with them. Otherwise all the rest was excellent.
