Beautiful spot in the hills. Great for stargazing at night. Lots of birds and a few sheep in the surrounding paddock. Very clean inside. Would definitely rebook.

I chose The Briar for my wedding, spending the night before alone. It was precisely what I needed—peace and quiet, giving me time to relax before the big day. The property itself is beautiful quality and decor. The bed is soooooo comfy. I love the outdoor bath and seating area with the firepit. The hosts were easy to communicate with and we are so grateful for the little welcome bottle of wine and provisions. Easy drive into Nairne for all the ammenities and so close to the wedding venue. My one concern was no indoor bin that I could find, but it was no biggie; I just walked out to the wheelie bins. Thank you so much for a memorable wedding weekend. I am sure we will return for an anniversary or two.
