Not much parking but if you get the timing right for the parking you will be ok

Stayed at this property with a 1 year old and the room was located on the top floor so had to climb 6 flights of stairs to go up or down. It was noisy as the sound echoed through the property so Friday and Saturday night was hard to sleep. The room was not clean to the point that we found contact lenses on the table, hair in the shower and our one year old was finding all sorts of gross stuff around the room. Positives were the price and size of the accomodation.

Very central to everything. Train and big shopping centre only 10 minute walk. Woollies 5 minute walk. Waterfront less than 5 minutes. Heaps of eateries there. Even though we had late checkin (after 5pm) easy to get our key and gate code. Apartment had separate bedroom. Ensuite good size with walk-in shower. Nice hot shower.Kitchen has microwave, kettle, small fridge and few dishes. No cooking elements which we knew before we stayed. Maria very helpful and friendly. Good accommodation at reasonable price. Only downside was the towels very thin. Would stay there again.

This property was perfect for our family. It was close enough to town, foreshore and shopping districts to be able to walk there with ease. Kids loved the pool and the accommodation had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Would definitely book another stay here.

Tidy, friendly hotel right in the go area of Cairns. We'll priced and next to everything. Useful well-kept pool as well.

Hotel was in a great position in the city and was quiet. Checkin was excellent and run by locals. Aircon would’ve been better positioned in the bedroom. Average accommodation for a cheap price.

Centrally located in the heart of Cairns. Affordable. Room was big. Staff were helpful. Locally owned and operated

Was good, close to everything in the city.

The bed and pillow covers didn't appear clean. The pillow had an odor because of past usage. The toilet did not have a toilet roll holder next to the WC and the roll had to be manually picked every time for a clean. The reception staff were helpful though when we contacted them to inform of our late arrival.

Spacious room, great location right in heart of CBD. Walkable to esplanade, lagoon and to local Woolworths. About 15 mins from airport with taxi. Room had mini fridge with tea/coffee/milk and a microwave. Easy checkin and was able to leave to leave our luggage after check out before taking ferry to next destination. Great value for money and super friendly and helpful staff.

Not ideal for single women to stay there - not secure

Sad to say, pretty much everything in the room was broken - fridge door shelves; the single bed (!!); the ac was a really old and held together with gaffa tape lol there was no housekeeping at all. The Reception was not open once during our stay…

Location was ideal but the accommodation is very old. Fixtures missing inside the bathroom. Only enough PowerPoints for their electric items. The room had an old school box air conditioner that was noisey n then kicked into even noisier each time the compressor set in. But, the beds were really comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Do you get what you pay for? $140 a night? I’d probably not stay here again unless they did some upgrades.

Love the weekend stay

For the price it was well suited! Very basic, comfortable beds, good hot showers. The staff was fantastic! Very helpful. Stained bed sheets, dirty floors and all the surfaces need a good clean wiped!, toaster not working. Other than that, its a OK place. friendly, and helpful.

Walkable

Property badly needs a renovation. Leaky old taps, mold in the bathroom cupboard, tiles in the shower, stain mark on the flat sheets, sofa cover seems like it hasn't been washed in awhile, ceiling fan in the room not working. You can hear everyone passing by the room, paper thin walls. Microwave's coating is peeling, showing some rust. Mirror in the bathroom is rusty too, was very dirty I had to actually clean it to see myself in the mirror. Location is convenient, but there seems to be a lot of drunk people hanging around. A drunk man was harrassing us at the gate of the motel when we arrived, scary if you have kids with you. They have baggage storage, staff are nice. Pool seems dirty, didn't use it. Won't return here again.

Comfortable n satisfactory, room was close to the laundry. Enjoy my stay.

Einfaches Hotel aber sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal, es hat 4 Waschmaschinen, und 4 Tumbler gegen kleine Gebühr zu gebrauchen. Es liegt zu Fuss 5 Minuten von der Esplanade mit Restaurant u. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie dem Nightmarket. Zu Fuss ist die Rsilstation und Shoppingcenter in 15 min. zu erreichen.

Perfect for our quick stay. Beds were 5 star, so comfortable and perfect for our quick layover. Staff were very helpful with our late checkin. Rooms were dated but the price reflected this so this was not an issue at all!
