More of a unique motel experience, the layout of the motel is quite nice. I think we stayed during a quieter period, there were only a few other people staying. Check in was through text message with a room number and code for the key box. The reception was unstaffed. The short conversation I had with the staff over the phone was pleasant and I was able to check in without any problem. The room was clean and comfortable, the air con/heating worked well. The room had a bathroom attached and that was also very clean. Overall great accommodation for the location and I would be happy to return.

This property was a pleasant surprise. The set-up is unique in my experience. I would recommend.

All the rooms are arranged around a central square (covered over) with good kitchen facilities in that area - BBQ, TV, tables, cooking equipment, sinks, toasters etc. Just a bit odd that we were the only people there and saw no staff person. Car parking was not right by the unit/room so had to carry luggage a wee ways but not too bad.

Smallish unit but clean and modern. Setting and grounds are basic

A surprise. Outside it looked a bit rough but when you went inside it was completely the opposite.

Great Stay for the Silo art tour

Best smile and welcome to any Accommodation I’ve ever stayed at. I asked for an extra room upon arrival and was shown options for us to make a choice. I couldn’t fault such friendliness.

Basic facilities, no view, clean and tidy. Quiet even though it was booked out

Stayed overnight in October on way back from SA to see Lake Tyrell. Cabin was pretty good. Fairly spacious, well equipped and very clean, perhaps overly clean - the room smelt so strongly of bleach it was uncomfortable to be in until it had been aired for 2-3 hours. Very annoying. The room was relatively quiet despite being near the highway. We may have been lucky with few roadtrains and other guests that night. Rooms face a kind of courtyard with cooking and other facilities under large awnings. That makes sense for hot sunny days. Not sure how well it would work if there were noisy groups checked in. About 5 minute drive to town, with grocer and cafes, and 10 minutes to Lake Tyrell. Might be wise to ring Sea Lake tourist info to check how much water is in the lake before starting the long drive if best reflections are important to you. (Water was 500+ metres from shore on our visit.) The motel has a boot wash which is handy. Town silo and Ouyen up the road are interesting.

Perfect fir quick overnight accommodation, clean and felt safe

Was hoping to have a game of pool when we got there but needed coins so when reception was closed at 5pm we gave up on that idea. The rooms were over priced at $145 which for such a location and quality of accomodation we should of expected cheaper considering its only a demountable and was very tight for room but gladly the TV and shower and a/c worked well and we were there for one night.

No toaster in unit. Had to walk into a common area to toast our bread and the area and equipment was quite grubby. It was raining so couldn't have breakfast. Room had no windows so was very claustrophobic. Not very impressed!
