좁은 객실과 작은 크기의 침대는 지불한 금액에 비해 많이 아쉬웠음

Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem we had really, was the toilet in our room would not flush. The maintenance person came immediately and fixed it, but the next morning we had the same problem. Obviously a serious plumbing issue. We had to use the toilet in the foyer of the hotel. Apart from that all was okay.

Rooms were generally clean and well organised. AC worked well. The doors need a way to prop them open. Not having electrical/USB plugs next to the bed is a real disappointment. I can't charge my phone and lay in bed. The food in the restaurant (including breakfast) was really not very good. We ordered a pizza and wings. The pizza wasn't very tastey and the wings were cold. It took forever to get our order. The tables constantly needed cleaning and there was a piece of broke glass on one. I probably wouldn't recommend.

The staff were friendly, check in and out was easy and straight forward. The room smelt a bit musty and the sink in the bathroom had darker dirt around the silver part of the plug area around the rim of it. One of the face towels also smelt a bit musty like it had been sitting there for a while. The bed felt comfortable and the breakfast was good.

My sister and I have stayed here a few times when we meet up in Brisbane - the location next to Garden City shopping centre is so convenient for food and shopping (we both come from smaller towns). The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the bathrooms are a bit small. The free parking is a great bonus. There is a restaurant and bar at the hotel as well, which has reasonably priced food and drinks. Overall we really like it and will return.

The room had a lingering smell that was very reminiscent of old cigarette smoke, as if it had once been a smoking room and the odour was never fully removed. In the bathroom, there was visible mould in the caulking, which is not something you expect at this price point. The garbage bin was rusted, and the kitchen tap was broken, making it awkward to use. Cleanliness was another issue. The room door, along with many other doors throughout the hotel, appeared unclean, with greasy handprints on the handles and surfaces. These are small details, but they add up and affect the overall impression. Nothing here was catastrophic, but the accumulation of maintenance and cleanliness issues made the stay feel below standard for a Mercure hotel. With proper upkeep and attention to detail, this could be a much better experience, but at present it feels like the property hasn’t kept up with its past standard.

Bathroom was tiny and hard to move freely. Staff were nice and quick service. Air con was good.
