This looks like a motel which is going downhill. Weeds in the beds and unkempt appearance One cup and one plate in a double room Balcony furniture dirty and old fruit lying on the floor It needs some competent management attention to get it back on track.

Pathetic

Small dirty rooms and facilities, filthy carpet, stained dirty towels hung on string in bathroom for customers, flimsy lock on the door and a pungent chemical odour which smelled toxic. This motel needs to be inspected for health risks not promoted on Expedia.

This motel might be adequate for a night but is nonetheless lacking in upkeep and service. I stayed 4 nights in January 2026 and the room was only serviced on one of the mornings prior to check out. When i addressed this each time, the manager's excuse was that they had 50 rooms to clean every day (this motel does not have 50 rooms however the poorly rated motel next door is owned by the same people). This was either a poor excuse at passing the blame to staff or a poor understanding of the duties of running a motel. The air conditioning unit was full of mould and dropping on the TV. I popped the covers and found the filters to be full of dust. I cleaned them in less than one minute but I was kind enough not to bill for my efforts. The bathroom ceiling also has lots of mould on it. The only saving grace was the very comfortable bed, black out curtains, and proximity to town.

Pros - the bed was very comfortable and the room was dark at night, the shower was great with plenty of hot water and the room was large and had a small kitchen area. The location was also great and walkable. The air con was excellent and the staff had put our air con on before we arrived so it was nice to walk into a cool room. Cons - the motel was run down with broken floor tiles and weeds and rubbish in the common areas and a constant pile up of drawstring bags of dirty sheets and towels lining the walkways. The linen was washed in a small open laundry room with a few washing machines on non-stop so they didn’t seem to be able to get it done efficiently. There was an empty bottle of bundy on our balcony when we arrived and everything seemed slightly grimy. We bought cleaning supplies and cleaned all the surfaces ourselves as we were staying for over a week, but curtains and sofa were still grubby and curtain was torn and sofa had a cigarette burn. We covered the sofa with towels. We booked an additional 7 days before we arrived and we weren’t asked if we wanted our room cleaned in the whole 9 days. We asked for extra towels once during the stay but emptied our own bins and didn’t have our sheets changed. There was no shelf in the shower so we had to put our soap in a mug on the floor. Overall we had good value for money as it was peak holiday season but the hotel needs maintenance and a good clean and linens professionally laundered offsite.

Yes the room was very clean

Great stay. We got there late but instructions to check in was easy. Definitely recommend for others! Good halfway spot between Sydney and Melbourne

Nicely positioned motel but cleanliness in the room left a lot to be desired and the wifi was atrocious.

Great little stop over for a few days, great position, close to shops and clubs. A bit dated, but clean. We had a top floor room with a nice little balcony and beautiful views.

Internet speed was very poor and not of any use.

All good. Need to check the water drain of the air con. The dew dips.

It was an OK stay. The furnitures inside the room were old and some broken etc. the cupboard had some left over item from the previous occupants.

Friendly staff, clean room and bathroom. Breakfast area in room very practical. TV and A/C available and efficient. Balcony with view is nice. I recommend staying there. Quite steep to access the reception, be aware. Only thing is the pool was a bit dirty.
