The staff were amazing from check in to check out. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. The property is in need of some TLC but did not affect our stay. The bistro downstairs was awesome. Meals were so cheap and absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Live entertainment was fantastic also. Great location, plenty of shops and public transport. Note: There is no lift, only stairs so if you can’t do stairs this property is not for you. Also no mini fridge or milk supplied.

Excellent dining options in Campsie: the hotel and the duck kitchens across the road. Totally delicious and friendly.

Staff was friendly, no elevator so they helped me bring my luggage up the stairs. A little confusing as you check in at the bar, not the sign saying accomodation, but easy nonetheless. Clean bathrooms and bedrooms, AC worked great and kept the room at the perfect temp, tv in room afding more amenities, perfect for solo travel.

I had booked to stay two nights but let after 1. Even though the signs show no smoking, I could smell a combination of food and smoke smells permeating through the building and in my room. I went to see the staff about it as my eyes were being affected by it. They saw my eyes, they tried their best but couldn't help me. My room was right on the main street, with no sound proofing and the noise was unbearable. Needless to say, I could not sleep at all, with noises of cars, motorbikes, trucks and people calling out throughout the night. My lamp wasn't working, there was thick dust on the lampshade and the pillows were just horrible. It's such a shame as with some sound proofing, a good paint job on the walls throughout the property, upgrade of beds and linen, the place would be so much better. The bathrooms luckily have been upgraded and quite clean. Perfect location, great staff but the stay was really bad. I chatted with some others staying there and they all said the same thing.

The check-in process and staff were very friendly and helpful. While i knew it was just a room and a shared bathroom. Both were kept clean and in good condition. Had fresh towels everyday. The only downfall is that depending on the room you have. There is a window that is not covered and has a bright ledlight shining into the room. So its never fully dark for you to sleep. But that didn't really bother us.

Tom the manager was very helpful with getting tea n coffee that was supposedly included a basic stay in a pub but room was comfy n clean

Basic, of course, given the pricing, but they're clean rooms with comfortable beds, solid aircon, and decent bathrooms. Friendly staff. The owners could do with spending a little re-doing the peeling paint in some spots, but that's purely cosmetic. One day the hot water was in short supply, so perhaps watch for that.

Clean room and bathroom. Staff most welcoming and helpful. Campsie main street a joy to explore with mixture of cultures and food options.

Too close to a main street with lots of traffic. Hole in the curtain, dirty lamp, tv not working, windows not keeping noise out and staff struggled to understand my complaints. The listing stated parking near by which when i asked the receptionist, he didnt have a clue. Didnt end up actually staying in the end as one room booked was ok but the other one was really disappointing.

Bar was well stocked and the staff were excellent! However my key card to the room wouldn't work. I had it reset twice and even issued a new one but in the end the master was needed in get in the room and I was essentially trapped in my room..But the staff pulled out the stops for me otherwise

Clean but Spartan. The bathroom needs a shelf as does the shower.

I enjoyed the stay and found the area very interesting great food options and safe to wander.

Tidy room, easy access to public transportation

Terrible! Stay away. Absolutely disgusting. Loud+++, gross+++, staff do not care and are aware.

This is above a bar and casino in an unsaveory neighborhood. The bed was literally dirty, head board stained, neighbors played loud music, photos very deceiving. Please don’t stay here.

A nice basic room with ammenities as you walk out the door. A suggestion is place a mini fridge in the rooms especially in summer as guests like a cold bottle of water. Otherwise it was pleasant room for the price paid.

Very clean, awesome staff and great service. Highly recommend.
