Awesome location, right across from the parklands. Cafe / Restaurant was fantastic, all the staff were so lovely. Room was clean, quiet and air-con lovely and cold. Super comfortable bed and the pricing was excellent! Parking was well priced and secure, however very awkward to manouvre in there, lots of pillars to squeeze between. Glad we took our small car.

Really decent hotel - location and staff both super and very much a recommendable place to stay. Bathroom needs an update - doesn’t suit the rest of the high quality of the hotel!

The hotel view was excellent, and the location was also very good. However, the room service was a bit weak, and tissues and toiletries were not restocked.

Slightly out of the way but within walking distance of the city and train station. Service is great, room is nice sized.

excellent room, just difficult car park

After booking months in advance, i was contacted by the hotel a couple of days out and advised that due to a system error they were no longer able to provide my room. I was given a room nextdoor at the Soho hotel instead and offered complimentary breakfast for the trouble. The room was terrible, extremely small and outdated. Massive let down.

I had booked a room months in advance of my stay for an event but I didn't get to stay at the Mercure! I have stayed here on many occasions previously. I had a phone call from the hotel a few days before my arrival to say that they had double booked my room (along with a number of others) and that hey had arrange to book me into the hotel next door (which suspiciously happens to be owned by the same family group) . It was now too late to rebook with another hotel. The room I was booked into was not to the Mercure standard. They did however offer free parking and breakfast as compensation, however I would not have booked this alternative location by choice.

Hotel overbooked and put us in a cheaper lower star hotel. They did give us parking & breakfast but we want to rely on our Wotif booking otherwise we may as well not use this platform

Great room and location

Great rooms, service was excellent.

Double booked, so had to stay next door at the SOHO, with no refund. Tiny room, noisy, could hear every time someone coughed, laughed, flushed a toilet, etc... they offered me free breakfast, great!!! Not worth the price I paid, absolutely ripped off... disgusting!

Great locale. Staff lovely, very courteous. Food delicious. Reception areas and cafe/restaurant/bar all very attractive. Our room was on 8th floor. Minimal furnishings. Great comfortable bed. Our bathroom was disappointing.Dirty floor tile grouting and mould under shower door. We do understand the rooms are going through an upgrade though. We wish the hotel all the best in their upgrade.

My stay was for three nights. From check-in to checkout, my stay was perfect. The room was clean, shower excellent and all round super comfortable room. The included breakfast buffet was excellent! Meals from the restaurant, delicious. The location was great with the Spring Hill free loop bus right outside. I'd definitely recommend this place and I'll love to stay again.

Staff not courteous ignored at desk was out at pool in brief swimwear then about 70 people congregated there I was very embarrassed
