Amazing experience. Excellent facilities ! Well maintained.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Shelly Beach Holiday Park! We stayed in one of the newer cabins by the pool/splash park — super clean and perfect for our family of seven. Parking was limited to one car, but plenty of public parking by the beach gate made it easy. The long weekend activities kept everyone entertained, and the staff were so friendly and helpful! Awesome location — cafés within walking distance (Bateau Bay Café was our fave!), Wyrrabalong Coastal Walk and Shelly Beach close by, and 3 Peppers Pizza was a hit for dinner. The kids had a blast — we’ll definitely be back!

Great for the kids

Bathroom felt outdated, small and cleaning items left in the bathroom. Overall the cabin wasn’t as nice as expected.

Beautiful location, beautiful view

Kids had a great time with the water park. Fridge in room had no light and wasn’t very cold even though it was turned down. The freezer part was working, Shower had no water pressure and kids found it hard to get the temperature right. Room was clean and tidy. Only one bbq worked near our cabins out of 4. Wasn’t very impressed with the staff, was like talking to a brick wall. Called week before to say we’d be late and realised as nearly there i’d not been sent any details. Luckily they were still open when driving there. Day before departure, asked about late check out. Was told times for costing, (free to 11am) 3pm $50 said I’d call in morning. Called to book late check out, told a different time for price (12pm free) I said can I pay till 3pm - if I was told 12pm day before may of been different thought. Lady on desk said but “didn’t you just come her to change cabins”. I’m like what?? She had no idea Over all, nice place to stay, beach one side and pool-water park for kids and cabin was clean.

Great facilities, friendly staff

Good location and having the pedestrian access gate to the beach however upon returing to the park our code didnt work and we were locked out. Cabin itself was good for a family of four but we were overwhelmed by the smell of mildew. Not deterrents for a future stay but just things worth mentioning.

It was neat, conveniently close to beach safe n easy staff. Enjoyed the stay.

The dining tools were not convenient for family with kids. Windows not working properly and also we had issue with air conditioning as we had cold night on the first night then they offereyan new room

Great view

Close to the ocean and big enough to fit our extended family

The cabin was clean, well appointed, great location. However, The water pipes banged loudly every time someone turned on a tap in our cabin or next door. It was raining and as the Down pipes drain straight onto the ground there were deep puddles everywhere. A fish flipper would enable us to turn our fried eggs. I would return for another stay but would take earplugs in case the pipes are still banging.

Much cheaper than other places, but the cabins are older, windows don't seal properly so it was quite breezy inside. Bed was awful, the mattress was caved in. Kids enjoyed riding bikes around the park and the water slide, but a bit disappointing there wasn't a playground or park area.

The beach was not the best for the kids a lot of seaweed

Walls in cabin paper thin, could hear people next to us. Being woken up by people going up and down the stairs before 6am every morning wasn’t the best start to the day. Cabin near the beach walk across the road was great. Cafe at the beach was amazing and the food ant the bowling club.

It was good Stay.
