Beautiful clean cottage that was extremely peaceful Will definitely stay here again

Love the rustic design.

The cabin is very dated but clean with a comfy bed.

Lovely little cabin by a lake.

The cabin was very private and overlooked the lake. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Nice ground area to relax, explore and walk around. It was about a 5/6 minute drive into Stanley.

Situated on the highway so it was very quiet until about 8am. Only 2 cabins in the complex which was quite big with several small lakes. It was a lovely quiet and picturesque environment however the area was in need of some attention - obviously it was once very nice but now ground buildings are a bit run down. Cabins were fine however ours was a little unclean with a thick layer of dust in some areas. No internet present but all other facilities were usable. PowerPoints in bedroom were not conveniently placed.It was 6 km from Stanley so you needed a car to get in to town.

No internet, one space heater and was a cold night. Dusty next to noisy road, very old cabins, no internet

Great stay. Friendly manager. Easy to find and set on beautiful grounds by the lake. Would definitely recommend.

Would stay right away from this one. No one there at reception. Which was ok as we were told the day before where to find the key. As soon as we opened the room we were literally smacked in the face with the smell of mould, after finding black mould over the bathroom blind and woodwork, we attempted to air the place out and go for a drive. Did not help that smell had impregnated everything. Not wanting to stay at this accommodation being asthmatic this could definitely be an issue. After talking to the owner about the issue found her rude and unhelpful. Eventually we managed to get the caretaker to come to the cabin and inspect it himself, he said he was a smoker and may not smell it but agreed it also smelt badly. We also showed him the mouldy blind. We contacted our booking agent who called the owner, who then denied any issues with the room. End of story, we left, out of pocket and had to find alternate accommodation at 5pm with a young child in tow. Very disappointed and I will be reporting this business to the hotels association. Save you money and health give this one a miss!

It was an amazing experience and the location cannot be better. I will totally return when I go to Tasmania again. The views are wonderful and the sky at night with the milky way is something that I will never forget.

A lovely quaint little quiet cabin with lovely views of the lake. Could have had a wardrobe in the bedroom to hang up some clothes.

A beautiful setting with lovely views and walking , with exceptionally friendly people in charge.

Rustic charm, beautifully comfortable bedding and the perfect outlook for our 5 night stay. Pet friendly, our budgie thoroughly enjoyed his holiday too! 😄 Only a 5 minute drive into Stanley and a great base for daily sightseeing. We loved our time in the lakeside jetty cabin.
