Room was spotless and had the most magnificent view, was small but is what you would expect of an historic hotel. Was amazing to step back into the past. Staff were fantastic and obviously loved their job.

Staff was great and the rooms nice for such an old building but there isn’t much to do within walking distance.

The views from the hotel are out of this world. Whilst the rooms are snug they have everything you need with an amazing view to wake up to. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay.

This is an iconic hotel. The room was small but extremely comfortable with incredible views. The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel was full of antiques and amazing guest areas. The restaurant was in a room with stunning views and the food was excellent. Breakfast had good variety. I can not express how interesting this hotel was.

It was a treat being taken to our room with some history given by a staff member who curates the artifacts.

A treat to stay here, in the mountains. Wonderful welcome and service from the reception staff. The historic decor of the hotel makes it interesting to wander through. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the magic views from the windows.

Beautifully renovated building with a high end luxury feel. We loved it! The only draw backs were the roadworks outside and the fact that there is no lift. Window are double glazed so it was still very quiet in our road facing room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dining room is elegant. Food privey but good quality. We would definitely recommend.

Historic property, fantastic view and great staff, garden in front good but out back was pretty rough Terrible road construction out front (and even when finished) is such a detriment

Celebrated wedding anniversary & was a surprise for my wife Great choice perfect venue great friendly staff at every touch point Very relaxing venue & enjoyed accomodation, food, location was brilliant with breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains Highly recommend for that special trip

Very historical building

Our room was clean and quiet and the hotel itself quite beautiful. We stayed for two nights on a Monday and Tuesday and I wish we had of known ahead of time that the hotel’s Boiler House is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays as was the Cat’s Alley tea room and bar. These were all facilities we were looking forward to enjoying so I would caution others to consider this if you are thinking of staying on a Monday or Tuesday. Dinner in the Wintergarden was really lovely and the view amazing, very pricey and you will leave hungry though so you will want to have a snack before you go. The breakfast is buffet only and it is not worth the price, the breakfast service is limited and understaffed so food was not restocked and our coffee took so long we were not served it until after we had finished out breakfast. There is a cafe at the hotel that I. Would suggest is a better option but again, it was closed in the mornings while we were there.

A fantastic place to stay with fine dining options, elegant bar and unique Art Deco decor and architecture. Great base for doing anything in the Blue Mountains. It's like staying in a piece of history.

Room was clean, nice view but very small. Breakfast was good with a good selection. Dinner at Boiler restaurant was disappointing. Not a lot of choice, very small serves and quite expensive. Six adults, not happy.
