Waited forever for front desk help. They overbooked so I didn't get the room I paid for and had to move multiple times. The manager said I would get half of my night stay which was a blatant lie and now they are unresponsive. Horrible experience.

Beautiful spacious room with amazing view. Super friendly staff and a great continental breakfast included .

Fantastic location, lovely room and a great bar area. Complimentary basic breakfast is included too.

Told breakfast available from 7 am Get there and told eggs not available until after 8 am . Pathetic offering for Continental breakfast. Room 112 sink has huge cracks in it . Prices are now high but rooms are tired. Love the location and previously stayed here many times in the past . I’ll try something else next time .

The thing to understand about this place is that the bar and restaurant on the harbour front terrace are its focal point, and open to all. The menu is focused on quick dining. The food is pretty good and the prices are fair. Locals refer to WBH as ‘the pub’. The two best rooms in the hotel have a balcony with a view over the terrace and the harbour beyond. You pay extra for these, but ‘the pub’ is pretty noisy, as it is rammed in the evenings, and it was still very early in the season when we were there. There’s no priority for hotel guests. At weekends, there is a big sound system with a DJ facing the hotel, pumping out dance music. When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, this was in full swing, and with the doors to the balcony open it was like being in a nightclub in our room. At the end of our four night stay, the hotel asked for feedback, and I pointed out that this level of noise wasn’t conducive to relaxing after a long journey. The response was basically that if you don’t like it, get a room without the view. In some peculiar way, it seems the Pub and the Hotel are under separate management. “The noise levels are something we have put forward to the owners….” It looks to me as though WBH wants to maximise the revenue from a boutique hotel offering a tranquil location - but also a rowdy hotspot for the affluent young of the City. Ultimately, I’m not sure that is going to work.

Great area

Beautiful harbour view and a lovely room. Great walks and Camp Cove beach just up the road. A lovely break away without travelling too far.

A bus ride to Bondi made it convenient, walkable to trails around.

From the time we walked into reception until the time we checked out the staff were friendly and welcoming and helpful. The rooms are beautiful with comfort and quiet. Options of restaurants were no shortage. Water views only steps away.

Lovely hotel with attentive, friendly staff. Easy access to Circular Quay via the ferries. Easy drive to the airport. Rooms are spacious and great for families. Hopefully we will be back!

Lovely hotel in beautiful location with bar and food options right on the premises. Rooms were large and nicely decorated; Bed comfortable. The only downside was the noise at 7.30am on Sunday from the clean up crew/bottles and rubbish compacting. Apart from that, great. I'd stay there again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, particularly with an early check-in request on the day. Lovely room and well maintained. Only downside was other noisy guests later in the evening

Iconic boutique hotel, with gorgeous views and fun dining. Easy walk to Doyle's, cafes or out to national park. Special Sydney location. Great staff - so friendly!

Everything was great except I wish there was a microwave and bit of room in lounge and kitchen area.

All the staff we encountered were very friendly & extremely helpful. Pleasantly surprised at the size of the room, very clean & comfortable. We will be returning.

A beautiful boutique hotel in beautiful Watsons Bay - will come back again.

Excellent time away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. A great hotel is surrounded by parks and neighborhoods. The cliff views within an easy walk were spectacular. Would stay here again.

We were greeted by Chelsea and JB who were a wonderful introduction to this hidden gem. In fact the staff overall were wonderful but Chelsea and JB were there to help us everytime we needed something. The hotel itself is wonderfully set out and the rooms had everything needed. There were 3 weddings on during our stay and when we retired to the room you would never had known an event was even taking place. Which gave us a great night's sleep. The location is wonderful, surrounded by beautiful scenery in every direction. The ferry arrives and departs 1 minutes walk from the hotel which will take you into the heart of the city. We loved this place and on our 3 weeks travelling around NSW and Canberra this was our favourite place. From management to breakfast staff everyone was polite and helpful. The hotel and location were spot on. We will definately be back.

We stayed 3 nights at WBH to attend a nearby wedding and were pleasantly surprised by the level of friendly service and the well-designed rooms. The location has a good blend of being reasonably close to things but also a relaxed area to do some walks and enjoy some good scenery. Would gladly stay again.
