The hotel was great, location and everything about it was fantastic. The rooms were large and stylish with an old charm, with high ceilings and very well appointed decor. The beds (two twins connected to each other) had problem though, the side that my wife slept on was worn out completely and she fell into the mattress. She didn't say anything to me until I lied down on her side and realized myself how bad it was compared to mine. But by then it was the last night and we just told the hotel about it the next day on our way out. Not sure if they are going to do something about it or not. Other than a bad mattress (which is really the main part of a hotel room, yes?) the experience with the hotel was great and breakfast was fantastic too.

Location is good. Room inside is a bit old. My room is 237 and some of the wall paper fell down slightly. No kettle and luggage supporter were provided. The enlarged mirror fell down slightly too. The smell of room was a bit wet.

A decent property but not a five star. Very convenient area. However, the details in the amenities such as the towels and the sheets were quite poor and disappointing. These may seem like small details but they make a big difference.

Really good hotel, restaurants are great, they have great breakfast, hotel staff was really kind, they allowed me to make my check-in earlier.

Wonderful day! Room was beautiful, super clean, lovely staff at the restaurant. Breakfast buffet + breakfast menu was surprisingly good. Thanks for a wonderful stay, will definitely recommend!

Excellent hôtel, service et localisation.

Overall an exceptionally great experience. Not sure what “VIP Access” amenities are, but the breakfasts were outstanding and the 40Euro credit welcome (applied to our wonderful dinner at the 1870 Restaurant). The only very minor issue we had was the master lighting switch in the room, which was on a timer - so we kept having to press it again to keep the lights on. Also next time we would ask for a room with a view - my point being we would without doubt return to this hotel!

Everything absolutely perfect. The food in the restaurants and the breakfast were superb. Can strongly recommend this hotel.

Sehr höfliches, hilfsbereites und kompetentes Personal; es hatte immer eine Antwort parat. Tolles Morgenbuffet, das keine Wünsche offen liess. Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, im Herzen aller Sehenswürdigkeiten. Einzig die hoteleigenen Restaurants konnten nur mit langer Vorlaufzeit besucht werden (waren beinahe immer ausgebucht)

Nice hotel in central Vienna. Located in the heart of shopping and dining street of Vienna. Old hotel but well maintained. Staffs were nice and assistive. Bedding is quite to soft and using spring mattress, which I don't like that much, but still comfortable. Air conditioning panel is quite confusing to operate but I can make it works after learning. Breakfast was good but not to the point of 5 star hotel expectation.

The bathtub shower access was difficult to enter. Anyone with limited abilities should ask for a room with a shower only.
