Emerald Hotel

Horrible experience. We arrived way before the check-in (3:00am) so we paid cash for the extra night. The rooms were horrible. Mold all over the sink. Water leaking by the toilet. Black stains on the sofa. Cigarette burns on the headboard. We were 3 in one of the rooms (we had 2 separate rooms) no blanket for the extra rollaway bed. Morning, no breakfast. Restaurant sent us to the FD, front desk back to the restaurant. The supposed breakfast area was empty. At the end, someone prepared us a small plate with some cold meats & cheese. We checked out even though we had the next night paid through Expedia. Contacted Expedia but they couldn’t get a hold of the manager. They didn’t refund us. I sent Expedia the photos. Terrible experience.

Sparse, old, shower temperature impossible to control, no hangers in closet, door lock flimsy and had previous damage, bugs in bathroom. Staff were friendly but that's about the only positive thing I can say.

Et forferdelig hotell med døde og levende insekter på gulvet, i sengen, på veggene og på badet, mugg og sopp i dusjen og en seng full av gule flekker og sorte hår. Total mangel på renhold, service og vennlighet. De snakker heller ikke engelsk på hotellet, så kommunikasjon foregår på Google Translate. Vi ankom hotellet kl 04 og sjekket ut igjen kl 09.

Pis, rahatsız, banyoda duş kabini yok. Otele giren çıkan belli değil. Kapılar kilitli değil.

Die Unterkunft ist zuweit von der Inbenstadt entfernt, die Wohngegend ist bedenklich und es gibt zuwenige öffentliche Veekehrsmittel.

Front desk people were polite and smiled. Bathroom was tiny. The supplies were cheap. The free breakfast was disappointing. I had expected at least some staff to speak english- turns out not many people in Baku care about the language. The check in was supposed to be 24 hours but I was told the room was not ready. The smiling staff directed me to the free breakfast. That the saving grace of this place

Los tapetes son los más sucio que puede haber y manchados , que terrible un establecimiento tan bonito con pisos manchados y en tan mala condición

تم تغيير الفندق الى فندق آخر من نفس الادارة لعدم وجود تكييف والفندق الآخر لايوجد لديه مواقف والمنطقة مزدحمة

This hotel has a very friendly staff. It lives up to all of the positive reviews. Enjoyed my stay here.

I liked the Emerald Hotel. Staff were totally receptive about everything including printing out boarding passes, fixing the TV, and getting a taxi. Emerald Hotel is a little “our of the way” from Old Baku but with the ridiculously affordable taxi and Uber in Baku, does it even matter? My only suggestion is to step up the game for breakfast. Turn up the lights as it looks like a cave and get a better assortment of things to eat. I saw cereal each day (chocolate Cookie Crisp) but never saw the milk.nothing is labeled and i need that becAuse I have but allergies. I don’t remember seeing any cheese or bottled water at breakfast. I like theee guys nonetheless

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location was not the best for people who prefer to walk and take transit. The facilities were overall nice

You only get what you pay for so this is good value for the money. Breakfast does not really cater for Europeans, the standard room I had had stains on the floors and furniture and the bathroom was not great, however I am pleased with how I was treated and the cost of the room was very good. I arrived early in the morning and needed some sleep.The staff put me in a room so I could do this even though my room was not available. I was picked up from the airport which was free which avoided the hassle of the taxi drivers. I will stay at this hotel again.
