Atlantis Historic Inn

Atlantis is beautiful, the staff are great, and the east coast is a wonderful peaceful place. We've stayed before and always enjoy our stay. You'll need a car - there isn't much in terms of supermarket or dining etc nearby, altho "De Garage" is just around the corner and they make some great food and have basic items like snacks etc. All in all, a great experience as always :)

We loved that they had a kitchen in our disposition. We were able to use and familiarize with the history of the building with the numerous photographs all along the walls. It was beautiful and the staff were super friendly and approachable. They were always ready to answer our questions. If you want to feel a little like a local definitely go to the Atlantis Historic Inn!

I loved that the property was on the eastcost of the island. Something about the sea was very calming. Although it is an historic inn the rooms could do with a bit of ungrade

The east coast of Barbados is beautiful and natural. The Atlantis was the perfect spot to stay, both to explore the east and north coast, and to enjoy the comfort and amazing food at the Inn. We would love to go back.

Rooms were spacious and staff was friendly and attentive. Plan to stay there when I return to Bathsheba.

Antonio was very helpful throughout my stay. The rooms are also very spacious and relaxing .Oh yeah can’t forget about the view!!! Breathtaking! will definitely be back!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The one thing i would have liked was complimentary coffee in the mornings.

Very friendly staff, cute room, super food. Dinner was very good. Someone, maybe the hotel, maybe the taxi company messed up our reservation. One of the hotel senior staff had one of the staff drive us in his personal car. Truly great response.

Wonderful Hotel in every way possible. Location was outstanding as was the service from all the staff. Food was really excellent. In all we could not fault the Hotel Atlantis.

I so wanted to love this hotel but it was underwhelming, a bit tired, lacking in much atmosphere, and the staff, whilst polite, were not overly helpful or accommodating. We were also extremely annoyed to find out we had been booked on a room only basis when it had been made out to be on a bed and breakfast basis. This was completely misleading and the hotel staff were unhelpful and unwilling to do anything to make up for this issue. So we ate elsewhere. Our coastal room was large, clean and classically stylish - but looked out on a generator and had nearby dogs barking constantly from 6am - so book an ocean view to avoid this! The in-room fridge was in dire need of replacement as it was rusty and not somewhere to keep fresh food or drink. There were cracked tiles in the bathroom and our toilet seat was broken. These things are not reflective of the hotel prices and made for an overall disappointing stay. There are better places to stay nearby in my opinion with better amenities. The Atlantis needs a refurb and some love injected back into it as the location is stunning on the East Coast and it has a lot of history…It seemed to be a bit forgotten and unloved by its current owners…

The property is very nice and well maintained, very clean. Staff is polite and very helpful. The area is very picturesqu-e and clean. We had wonderful experience.

What a fantastic stay! Couldn’t get more Oceanside big great pool and pool side area perfect and steel drums and other music perfect volume and selection …room spacious super comfortable and ALL staff was fabulous made me feel pampered special and like family they care! Highly recommend and next visit I’ll be spending more time here! Food delicious also fruit punch the best!!! Can’t say enough good go visit enjoy for yourselves!!

Right on the coast. Large rooms that are not boring/generic. Nice common areas. Numerous historic pictures on the walls. Friendly staff. Nice welcome drink and nice dinner & breakfast. Will definitely come back.

Staff were amazing here. The views are lovely on this quieter side of the Island and the Historical Inn is very interesting.

Loved it! The best option for someone who wants to stay on the east side of the island. So close to the beach & Soup bowl. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The room was beautiful, and we got an ocean side view which was amazing to wake up to every morning

We booked a weekend stay with the intension of surfing nearby breaks. Prior to arriving I corresponded with the front desk to line up a guide and surfboard and they assured me that it would be arranged but when I arrived. However, I was told that the guide never replied and there is not a nearby surf shop, so everything seemed up in the air. When we were showed our room, we were very underwhelmed as it was dark, windows were dirty, floor was sticky, and it smelled musty. After sitting down to lunch - which was just OK, we decided that this is not the right fit especially if the surf guide/board is up in the air and staying in a tired hotel with a small pool will only go so far so we booked another hotel on the south coast. I explained that we are leaving with all the above points to the front desk, asked that if they can return a night or two in good will but not a chance and he started on about how they were fully booked instead as if I should feel bad about leaving..
