I had a great time at Barbados CHI guest house and the hostess Christy was a delight. The location is perfect - an easy walk or minivan ride to the beach. The gardens were beautiful creating a peaceful atmosphere and Christy is a actual master gardener. I loved to hear the singing frogs at night and the various birds during the day.
For a stay with peace and quiet with easy access and opportunity to experience Barbadian daily living, beaches, and culture—this is the place to be. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Ich musste 140 USd für eigenes Badezimmer nachbezahlen.

5 USD pro Stunde für späteres Ankunft.

Wände waren Schmutz,Decke auch.
Ich wurde in der Nacht total am Körper gebissen…
Bettwanzen in der Matratze????
Würmer im Zimner,in der Dusche. Das Zimner wurde eine Woche lang nicht gereinigt,nicht mall der Abfall entsorgt..
Wir mussten warten auf den Transfer zum Flughafen auf einer Verande (nicht im Zimmer,was versprochen wurde),warten Auch für das musste ich 5 USD pro Stunde bezahlen.
Nur Horror.
Ich könnte die Fotos von unserem „luksus Apartment senden“
Kein Essen dort.
Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe,kein Restaurant.
Mit dem Taxi bin ich zum Einkaufszentrum gefahren um etwas zum Essen einzukaufen.
Das Essen war vom Kühlschrank verschwunden….
Wenn ich kann Brott von zuhause mitgenommen hätte,währen ich und mein Sohn verhungern!!!!
Der Strand war auch 35 Gehminuten,nicht wie angegeben 15 Minuten entfernt.
Nur dort waren Restaurants und nur dort haben wir einmal pro Tag gegessen.
Horror!!!
Ich rate Allen diesen Aufenthalt nicht zu buchen!!!!!
Auch ein großer Hund ständig war im Garten., welcher eingeblig blind war und nicht”beissen kann”
Ich hatte Angst….!!!!

My stay at Chi's Guesthouse was quite comfortable. It offered a little snippet into Barbadian culture, as it is nestled in a quiet neighborhood.
The area is also safe, so it's perfect for early morning walks.
There's also a garden, and the host is very friendly.

was not great... 90s outdated fridge that did not freeze or keep food from spoiling... cost of paying for a/c use was not attractive. bathroom toilet did not flush well... host was hungry for me to stay more days... heck no!

For me the best part of travel is the people I meet and experiences I have.Christy and Victor showed us the most wonderful time! Whether it was sitting by a bonfire in the garden, serving us local Bajan food, or taking us to the local farmer's market, all of the care they take with their guests makes for a very special and memorable and trip.
At the end of a long beach day or trip around the island it was so nice to come back and sit on the veranda overlooking the garden with a nice glass of wine and catch up with our hosts.
My daughter and I, had a wonderful time in Barbados and we have Christy and Victor to thank for it.

Christie was a wonderful host. She helped me with an emergency, helped me navigate Bridgetown, and supported me in dealing with a hospitalized family member. Th environment is very beautiful. Bridgetown is too hot for me!

It has a dusty and musty smell, there are many humidity problems on the ceilings, it is not a good environment. It is full of many personal items everywhere and everything looks very messy. The hostess had a bad attitude when I arrived, my flight was delayed, I notified her through Expedia. The entrance is uncomfortable, if it rains you get wet opening and closing the padlock. Does not accept credit cards. Dirty carpets, dangerous desk chair in poor condition. $20 per day additional and in cash to use the a/c and it doesn't cool well, it has a bad smell. It has a lot of rules, you even have to take out the trash.

I simply need to go back as soon as possible. Christie and her team were amazing. I enjoyed every second of my stay. I learned so much and had so many wonderful conversations with the other guests. I have to recommend Chi Gardens for anyone wanting a peaceful experience while in Barbados. The garden is simple breath taking. I’m happy I chose to stay here for my first trip to Barbados.
