The best hotel

Fabulous location, a short walk to train through quiet streets. Extremely close to a few great restaurants and a few blocks to a laundromat. Best breakfast bar of 30 day trip around Europe. Wonderfully large bathrooms, but with a whiff of sewage most days if door not left shut. Apparently the shower drain may not be placed well after cleaning??? that was explanation. Room overlooking the small street was quiet at night.

Beautiful hotel with convenient location. Staff was wonderful. Rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a large selection.

Wonderful location and the Hotel was beautiful. Easy access to the train station and right in town. The staff was amazing. We had a wonderful time and loved Bruges

Rooms are large but unusual layout. Distinct lack of storage space in bathroom. Hotel location towards the outskirts of old town but well within walking distance of all attractions. Breakfast very good with wide selection on offer. The property appears popular with visitors from USA.

Our stay at the Acadamie was great. Its position was extremely convenient, not only for walking to the Train and Bus stations, when visiting other nearby Belgian cities, but also very close to the centre of Bruges itself, to enjoy all its sights and amenities. We had a very modern, well fitted room, which overlooked the central courtyard.Bed was extremely comfortable, and very large! Bathroom had both bath and shower options. Breakfast was taken in the cellar Breakfast Room. Large range of hot and cold food available, making choice difficult! Staff, both on Reception and in the Breakfast Room were very friendly and helpful. The Acadamie Hotel was for us an excellent choice in Bruges.

We loved Brugge and our hotel. Duke’s Academie was an easy walk to the center. It was beautifully decorated, clean and comfy. The staff were welcoming. I’d definitely return and recommend to my friends.

2nd time we stayed at this hotel and each time the staff and service received were excellent. Hotel itself is fresh, clean and nicely decorated. We highly recommend it.

Excellent and good value hotel in the heart of Brugge

This hotel is great and i recommend it. Checking in and out was a breeze. It is well located, room we had (luxury) was very spacious, comfortable and modern. Small touches like usb plugs, a usable fridge and a safe make a difference. Breakfast buffet was excellent it had almost everything you can ask for. Smoked salmon was a plus. Had some minor issues that were quickly resolved, Amber at the front desk was very helpful and professional. Will book again next time in Bruges!

Mooi gelegen hotel in het centrum van Brugge. Alles is op loopafstand te doen. Wij hebben gebruik gemaakt van de parkeergarage om de hoek (Katelijne parking) deze is goed bereikbaar. Mooie kamers, die van ons lag erg rustig, en een lekker ontbijt. Een aanrader!

This hotel was decent! The decor was lovely and I appreciated the fridge in the room, the chocolates etc.The elevator didn't go to the main floor most of the day (I'm sure there was a reason) and the pillows were horrific but the location was nice and quiet.

Não tivemos uma boa experiência com o Staff, tanto antes como durante a estadia. Vale destacar que as informações do Trip sobre o hotel omitem uma informação importante, a saber, há estacionamento, mas este possui poucas vagas, e nenhum lugar informa isso no Trip. Pior, eu reservei e enviei mensagem apontando que iria de carro, mas ainda assim, ao chegar, fui surpreendido com o fato das “vagas limitadas” não reservadas. Isso criou um imenso aborrecimento e transtornos na busca de um estacionamento privativo fora do hotel e tomou muito tempo nosso. Além disso, as outras 3 vezes que fomos até o Staff solicitando reservas de restaurante ou outro pedido, apesar de haver um sorriso no rosto, não havia, de fato, uma verdadeira intenção de ajudar. O principal aspecto positivo do hotel é o conforto do quarto e o seu tamanho. Além disso, o café da manhã é excelente. O prédio também é moderno e bonito. Em relação a localização, há também um fato distorcido no anúncio e nas avaliações, pois as principais atrações ficam no mínimo a 10 minutos a pé e as principais a 15 minutos. Então, não entendi a nota de localização tão alta. Essa mesma rede (Dukes) possui outro hotel que está, de fato, ao lado da praça central, aquele sim possui uma localização perfeita.

Excellent hotel in a great location, only 10 min walk from the train station and close to many great places to eat, drink and explore. Our room was very comfortable. Fantastic breakfast too. Highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back!
