Tres bon hotel

Très bel hôtel en centre-ville piéton. Les équipements sont récents et d’un niveau qui tranche avec la ville, qui globalement est elle encore un peu au 20eme siècle. Je n’aurais que des compliments si l’accès à certaines prestations n’était pas payantes. Vous découvrez certe que le spa est en supplément, mais je ne pensais pas que la piscine l’était. J’avais compris qu’un accès une heure était inclus. Mais non, c’est 20€ par personne pour cette heure. C’est pas vraiment un cadeau car c’est 35€ pour les extérieurs à l’hôtel pour 2h… Vous ajoutez les 22€ de stationnement pour la journée, et bien ça change les choses. J’ai pris une chambre supérieure, je constate l’absence du coin cuisine. Il est sur les photos, mais la encore c’est 10€ d’option. L’utilisation du frigo et du micro-ondes serait la encore payant… Ça fait quand même beaucoup, non ? Alors franchement quand on voit la cafetière et les dosettes dans la chambre on hésite, et on vérifie les coûts. C’est bien inclus, ouf ! C’est dommage car ça gâche un peu tout le reste du séjour, qui reste parfait. Évitez nous ces surprises, soyez plus clairs, plus simple en tarification. Merci !

The restaurant is good.

Yderst flot hotel og god beliggenhed. Lidt ærgerligt over spaens korte åbningstider. Og det var svært at finde rundt da man skulle køre i en stor forvirrende p-kælder... Men ellers flot og helt klart et sted vi kunne havne igen.

Overall ok, good location

The hotel location is great, the room was comfortable, but the service has room to improve, especially for a 4* hotel: -The hotel did not have any shampoo (they were out of stock for the week), -They were out of washcloths for the entire week -Breakfast was hit or miss depending on the day. Some days, the eggs were severely undercooked. I do not mind runny eggs, but half the time, they looked more like an egg soup -The spa service (manicure / pedicure) was horrible: it was so painful that we almost had to ask them to stop -We had to ask 3 people at the front desk to finally get a parking pass. The first 2 people told us that we had to pay every time that we got in and out. The 3rd finally told us that we could prepay for the week and get in and out as many times as we wanted. The beds were super comfortable though

Sur le papier, cet hôtel avait tout pour lui… malheureusement la réalité est tout autre. La chambre sent la cigarette, elle donne sur la cour intérieure qui est très bruyante même après minuit. Obligé de dormir la fenêtre fermée…il manque une tasse et celle qui est présente est très sale. Pire, lorsque nous le demandons au service, ce dernier nous donne des mini tasses. »vous n’avez pas plus grand pour une infusion? »…réponse «  si je vous donne celles là, c’est qu’il y en a pas d’autres! » ok. Pourtant le lendemain au petit déjeuner, quelle surprise de voir tout plein de tasses à infusion. Bref… Il manque aussi le savon liquide dans la douche… le porte savon se sent bien seul. Si on fait abstraction des ces « détails », le séjour était confortable tout de même. Un peu cher s’il n’y avait pas tous ces « détails »…

Beware the pictures showing a pullout couch. Not all rooms, despite being labeled suites, have one (and the alternative is like a double chair, thinly padded, too narrow to sleep on and uncomfortable even as a place to just sit). The front desk staff after some confused promises over several days eventually provided us with a room that did have a true pull-out one. If you need one, contact the hotel directly. Other than that, very nice hotel. The breakfast buffet features some Belgian specialties along the usual array of hot and cold items. The restaurant is excellent (best blanquette de veau ever!) And if you rent a car, select a really small one. Parking spots are tight for the hotel and everywhere else in Belgium.

Loved this location

We absolutely lovthus location! A few quirks, they don't care for Americans so dont expect all smiles and love from the locals. Its not all the locals but a good amount. Otherwise you would love the locale. The hotel is nice and all the amenities are great, they're was a few issues but overall we enjoyed our time in Belgium. The room has a couple flaws, toilet is in a closet on the other side of the shower room wall, you have to walk around with dirty hands to get to sink. The pillows are small squares and only 3 on a king size bed. No top sheet just a duvet blanket, no extra blankets or pillows in room. Lots of storage and closet space. We found it strange that your key card must stay in the holder at door area to maintain electricity in room. The shower also needs shelves there was no where to put your products.

Ich hatte dieses Hotel gebucht für einen Businesstripp. Und ich hatte zwei absolut schlaflose Nächte. Es war ein Alptraum. Das hotel ist in einer Studentenstadt und es wurde die ganze Nacht draußen Party gemacht und rum geschrien. Und das unter der Woche. Nachts um fünf waren sie dann endlich fertig.. ich hatte zwischenzeitlich die Rezeption angerufen, aber sie meinten es sei normal und so jeden Tag und ging bis mindestens drei Uhr nachts.. sie brachten mir dann oropax, die leider gar nicht halfen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schlecht isoliert, sodass man wirklich alles von draußen mitbekommt. Für das Schwimmbad muss man zusätzlich 20€ zahlen. Ich würde auf gar keinen Fall wieder kommen. Man hatte beim check out auch nicht nachgefragt, ob wir zufrieden waren. (Wir hatten drei Zimmer gebucht)
