Clean room, location

This hotel is beautiful with a pool in front and another one on top of the hotel. The rooms are clean and everyone is nice and friendly. We're definately planning on being back next year!

I had such a lovely stay at Tropical Palace Hotel in Belize! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome and cared for. Everyone was incredibly kind and genuinely accommodating, always ready with a smile and willing to help with anything I needed. A special shout-out to Marlyni, the morning receptionist, who truly made my stay unforgettable. Her warmth, professionalism, and friendly energy brightened every morning. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home, and I’m so grateful for her. Thank you to all the staff for creating such a comfortable, safe, and pleasant experience. Tropical Palace Hotel has a wonderful team, and it really shows. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Belize!

This was easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room itself was not terrible in layout, but it seemed like it had not been occupied or cleaned in years. Dust covered the furniture and surfaces, and the bedding and towels were stained and in desperate need of replacement. To make matters worse, no regular cleaning services were offered during my stay. I arrived on a Sunday night to loud music that played until 1 a.m., only to be awakened the next morning by construction noise starting around 8 a.m. Loud sawing, hammering, and general chaos continued nonstop until 5 p.m. every single day. It quickly became clear that the hotel is undergoing major renovations, making it feel like I was staying on a construction site. The worst part of my stay, however, was the dirty water. For the entire week, the water from both the tap and the toilet was yellow and smelled awful. I ended up showering and brushing my teeth elsewhere and used the hotel only for sleeping. Perhaps most disappointing of all, none of these issues were communicated by the front desk. The staff seemed oblivious or indifferent to the fact that guests were being subjected to construction noise, poor hygiene, and contaminated water. I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel until all renovations are complete and the basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, and honesty are restored.

The hotel manager was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very helpful when we had to rebook an excursion and always greeted us wuth a smile 😃

Good area, front desk person friendly

Extremely accommodating. Picked us up right from the airport without any problems. Staff were great.

Our pool and room was always clean but there were maintenance issues, the bathroom sink was not connected to the cabnet it was on, the hot water was not hooked up to the sink, the shower drain comes out, water leaks from the base of the toilet, the balcony door has a gap and there are no screens on anything so mosquitos come in, and the room main door has to be shut hard or it wont close, front desk staff was nice and they served good food and drinks by the pool. Room was air conditioned well, and relatively quiet exept for when there is parties.

they communicated with me all the way to pickup and drop off. only issue was a plumbing but the rectified even willing to move me to another room. its not the Ritz-Carlton but it was comfortable and clean. there are only stairs though so be prepared for exercise. pool on the property helps cool you down from the heat and the location is near restaurants and grocery store. you can also rent golf carts which is the mode of transportation on thr islan of San Pedro so that's convenient

I was welcomed with the friendliest front desk, both ladies I encountered were so sweet and welcoming. I was able to book last minute pick up from airport, which I appreciated. The pool was a nice focal point of the hotel. The room was much better than expected, it has a fridge which I was excited for. Overall great place and would book again!

The customer service was amazing, very attentive and caring for there customers.

Had to leave the island on the 11th due to medical emergency. Tried to cancel or get a credit for future stay. Hotel didn’t care to even respond to my multiple attempts and I was told by Expedia that they refused even though I canceled on the 10th for an upcoming stay on the 15th. 5 days in advance! Steer clear or make sure you have insurance.

the room was clean and good, and AC worked, so primary goal achieved. Based on the expedia listing, I had thought the pool, dining area, and poolside bar would be operating. The building outside of the individual rooms seemed pretty rundown. I would not recommend had I been traveling with my family, but was a perfect place to sleep comfortably between scuba dives
