We LOVED our stay at the property! Everyone took care of our every need. Food at the restaurant was outstanding! The treehouse was perfect for our jungle adventure trip! Bruno the resident howler monkey was a huge highlight!

This is a very special property in the jungle. The food prepared at the restaurant was superb. There was a lovely infinity pool that we were able to enjoy. (Temps were in the mid-90s) We stayed in one of the treehouses and loved it. Very well appointed. Pretty pathways throughout the property. Be sure to visit the green iguana rescue in San Ignacio. The property's location is handy for Mayan ruins and cave tours. Love this place.

This was our first hotel on a two week trip around Belize. We stayed at 6 other hotels/cabanas over our whirlwind tour of this great country. We waited until the end to make sure, but this was our favorite resort of all that we stayed. The cabin we stayed in (Hibiscus), was well appointed. The staff did a phenomenal job - they made up the extra bed in the room when we arrived and ironed the sheets as they made the bed. The daily towel animals were a nice touch too! The infinity pool was clean and relaxing. Food at the restaurant was amazing - highly recommend it. We really enjoyed watching all the animals on the property. The staff were phenomenal, making sure everything was taken care of. Highly recommend this resort!

We had a fantastic stay at Vanilla Hills. Our cabin was very comfortable with awsome views out of all of the windows. The on-site restaraunt has fantastic food and we enjoyed a special tapas tasing event while we were there. We would definitely return.

Vanilla Hills was a beautifully designed and executed resort. Every detail was carefully thought through and we were well taken care of for every part of our stay. Claudia, Karina and the entire staff were so attentive and kind. The food and drinks were incredible, and we loved getting to watch all the wildlife visiting to munch on fruit provided by the groundskeepers. Vanilla Hills coordinated all of our transport and excursions to be provided by Belize Caving Expeditions, and everything was top quality and so much fun. Thank you Vanilla Hills team!

We loved our stay in the Gumbo Limbo Treehouse! The room was beautiful and staff were amazing! We even had a troop of monkeys playing in the trees one morning while we were there.

Wow! what an amazing oasis in the jungle. The entire staff is truly focused on the needs of the guests. They are attentive, thorough and very friendly. The "tree houses" are spectacular, well decorated, filled with everything you need and super clean. You could drive, taxi to town for dinner, but why. Seriously, the food is so amazing on site and very reasonably priced for what they serve (gourmet deliciousness). This is the spot for a romantic stop while exploring the many fabulous tours nearby.

The grounds and staff far exceeded our expectations. The tree houses were perfect and private. The showers were so cool. We ate every meal there during our three day stay and each one was delicious. The pool is beatiful and the bar is always open. Vanilla Hills arranged all of our transportation and tours and kept us on track letting us know each evening when we needed to be where. Vanilla Hills Lodge is a fantastic place to spend your downtime while exploring all that the surrounding area has to offer.

Our Vanilla Hills stay exceeded all expectations & we cannot wait to get back! Located just a few minutes from San Ignacio, it’s a prefect home-base to hit Maya ruins, ATM Cave Tour, Big Rock Waterfalls, etc. Our lovely Tree House was well appointed, beyond clean and had the most AMAZING indoor/outdoor shower!!! One of my trip highlights was showering in a jungle 😊 The onsite restaurant was delicious, and the pool was pristine and morning & evening. The entire staff was warm, engaging, and happy to help with plan/tour suggestions. THANK YOU, Claudia, for the “unbelizable” accommodations, cooking and personal touch. See you again soon! wonderful resort with great food and staff. only 2 negatives were I notified the owner that the foliage needs to be trimmed at the entrance to my cabin but it was not done. A big disappointment was that not no Belizean food was on the menu. Travel is to experience different foods and cultures but sadly not in this case.
