Charning hotel with antique decor and spacious rooms right in the old town. The hosts werlnt above and beyond with a personalized welcome and wine & cheese + breakfast option and free soft drinks. Parking right around the corner was a big bonus. Only downside was a bit of noise from the big road nearby.

This is the most beautiful old hotel right in the old city. I had a little trouble finding it as you have to pass through the barriers to get access to the old city. Looking at Google maps, I mistakenly thought access was on the main road. Hristo, the owner, had registered my car details so I was waved through the barrier with no problem. I arrived 15 minutes after the receptionist was supposed to leave but she waited for me. They've gone to a lot of effort to reflect the character of the old city. I was only there one night but will make sure I return as it was beautiful. Don't expect an elevator as it's an old building.

Great location in Old Town, loved the antique style which was very in keeping with the surroundings. Staff and Hristo the owner went out of their way to be helpful and we really appreciated all the little extra thoughtful touches such as a handwritten personal welcome notice displayed in reception.

If the could give ten stars, I would. An absolute gem in the middle of “Old Town”. An outstanding service. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and charming little streets with beautiful architecture and history at every corner. We will definitely come back for a longer visit.

This hotel is a little gem. Located in the old town, it’s a quick walk to Kapana and the city center. My room was spotless, breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient. I definitely would stay again and I highly recommend this little hotel.

Sweet little hotel in the middle of the pedestrian zone of old Plovdiv. A refurbushed house, it has quirks but also modern amenities like AC, lovely bath, etc. The welcome from the staff was great; having guest names written on little chalkboards to welcome us is a cute touch. Most importantly, they were super helpful when I realized I'd left something behind - immediately responsive and kept it safe until I could return. Important to give car registration info in advance so you can get into the neighborhood. Very nice stay!

Room was clean, organised and restoration was done properly regarding everything. Thus, atmosphere inside felt like we were living the historical times of the city. This is a beautiful old hotel in old Plovdiv. Every night they provide free wine and cheese and the breakfast is delicious. They do need a better map of Old Town but I highly recommend this hotel!

The location of the hotel is excellent as it is situated in the heart of the city, yet it still manages to be a peaceful and quiet retreat. It is located in old town within walking distance of many attractions and shops, Kapana is just across the main street. Room is specious and decorated with antique furniture. Try the pillow menu 😊 Hristo is a great host, from the first communication. The moment I came in, he sat me down with a glass of homemade lemonade and provided a lot of information and insights about the best places to visit in the city. He made me feel at home with a personalized welcome sign when I came in and a had a birthday greeting on my breakfast table on my birthday. I highly recommend Evmolpia Hotel.

I arrived 15 minutes after the receptionist was supposed to leave but she waited for me. They've gone to a lot of effort to reflect the character of the old city. I was only there one night but will make sure I return as it was beautiful. Don't expect an elevator as it's an old building.

Great location in Old Town, loved the antique style which was very in keeping with the surroundings. Staff and Hristo the owner went out of their way to be helpful and we really appreciated all the little extra thoughtful touches such as a handwritten personal welcome notice displayed in reception.

If the could give ten stars, I would. An absolute gem in the middle of “Old Town”. An outstanding service. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and charming little streets with beautiful architecture and history at every corner. We will definitely come back for a longer visit.

This hotel is a little gem. Located in the old town, it’s a quick walk to Kapana and the city center. My room was spotless, breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient. I definitely would stay again and I highly recommend this little hotel.

Sweet little hotel in the middle of the pedestrian zone of old Plovdiv. A refurbushed house, it has quirks but also modern amenities like AC, lovely bath, etc. The welcome from the staff was great; having guest names written on little chalkboards to welcome us is a cute touch. Most importantly, they were super helpful when I realized I'd left something behind - immediately responsive and kept it safe until I could return. Important to give car registration info in advance so you can get into the neighborhood. Very nice stay!

This is a beautiful old hotel in old Plovdiv. Every night they provide free wine and cheese and the breakfast is delicious. They do need a better map of Old Town but I highly recommend this hotel!

The location of the hotel is excellent as it is situated in the heart of the city, yet it still manages to be a peaceful and quiet retreat. It is located in old town within walking distance of many attractions and shops, Kapana is just across the main street. Room is specious and decorated with antique furniture. Try the pillow menu 😊 Hristo is a great host, from the first communication. The moment I came in, he sat me down with a glass of homemade lemonade and provided a lot of information and insights about the best places to visit in the city. He made me feel at home with a personalized welcome sign when I came in and a had a birthday greeting on my breakfast table on my birthday. I highly recommend Evmolpia Hotel.
