Sara Resort

Läget, faciliteterna (inkl pool), maten och personalen var bra, men kanske att man blivit lite bekväma och mycket av servicen låg i individer och vem man pratade med, istället för att hålla en jämn nivå. T:ex så städade man inte rummet annat än på begäran, vilket kan vara bra inte minst för miljön, men när de då inte kommer och städar så blir det ju en besvikelse och lägre nivå på service. Den inkluderade frukosten var också ”snål” och man behövde be om även sång som var inkluderat. Så jag kämpar med om det var värt att betala det extra för att bonpå Saras jämfört med andra resorter eller varför inte hostels.

We always booked at CDX residence, it's convenient to all the near by shopping and varieties of restaurants and street food.

We booked this hotel considering its good reviews, but it was not the nice place we expected. The TV in our room was not working and when we asked about it we were told it was a problem with the signal and that it would be solved by 3-4 pm, by the next morning it was still not working and after asking again they told us that TV was not working. The safe was not working either, they sent someone to check it and since it was not working they changed it but the other safe was left at our porch for a full day and no one came to pick it up until we complain about it. The shower does not have a door or curtain and whenever one takes a shower, the whole bathroom gets wet and it’s really messy. The exhaust if the bathroom didn’t working either. The linens in the bed were ripped. The towels are mismatched (in size and color) and are really worn out. The plants around the pool and walking areas are not taken care of, there are a lot of dry leaves and broken branches all over the place. The hotel has a very good menu and the food is of great quality & quantity, the restaurant is most of the times full both by in-house and outside guests but the service is slow and inconsistent, they forget & confuse the orders and take ages to bring the food to the table. The pool is great, big and really clean which is a good point for the hotel. This hotel is in a great location and we think that if all these maintenance issues were taken care of, the experiencia would be completely different.

Das Sarah Hotel ist das einzige Hotel, was man buchen sollte, wenn man auf diese Insel möchte, Viele Alternativen u Möglichkeiten gibt es nicht auf der Insel, Das Essen und die Unterkunft alles okay, - Der Transfer war auch super organisiert, auch wenn der Fährenbetreiber sehr unfreundlich beim Verkauf des Tickets war.

Wonderful location. Fantastic resort with amazing staff who are so friendly and helpful. A little piece of heaven.

It was a beautiful stay. We are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and i have contacted the resort beforehand to ask if they can make our dinner a little bit more special and we were surprised by the most beautiful dinner on the beach. Everything was so special. The rest of our stay was met by the mist friendliest, kind and respectful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Sara resort was a great place to stay. Beach front property. Food was good. Rooms clean. Friendly staff. Beautiful view. The only negative was Mic The designated tour and island information guy. Misleading. Claims to have been on the island 13 years yet locals say he just arrived. Speaks no Khmer. No information on other island. Led us to a walk to the beach which was unmarked and we got lost and I wished for more honesty and upfront with his knowledge. Disappointing and we just wondered why and what the purpose was for him to mislead info about his knowledge of island. We caught on quick. Go stay at Sara resort for sure but don’t waste time with mic!

Hotel on the beach. Beautiful sand and water for swimming. Hotel has a really great pool, pool bar and restaurant. Good choice of breakfast included. Other bars and restaurants close by. Had a couple of minor issues but the staff were excellent and were quick to fix. Booked for 1 week but extended for another!

Beautiful- restaurant is excellent

Nice hotel. Chalets are a bit small but that's ok with me. It has all you need and would expect. Bear in mind it's on an island with limited facilities. Great pool area and right on the beach. Other beaches are walkable within about 30 minutes or so of hotel. Lots of bars and restaurants to the left and right of hotel, all along the beach. Very close to the ferry jetty. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

Lieu et personnel très accueillants. Nous avons même été surclassés dans un bungalow. Bungalow très propre et confortable, climatisé, avec une bonne literie, jolie salle de bain. Les installations de l'hôtel sont super, belle piscine avec des transats et des bed où on peut commander à manger et à boire tout au long de la journée et de la soirée. Restaurant charmant, plats locaux et cocktails excellents. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est pratique, à côté du chemin qui mène aux points d'intérêts de l'île. Le jour du départ ils se chargent de vous raccompagner au ponton du ferry. Je recommande vivement ce bel hôtel.

Beautiful. Good value for money. Twenty plus minutes nice walk through the jungle to beautiful beach other side othe island (ask for directions), great food and service at the place itself and nearby too.

Et skønt sted med et venligt personale. Morgenmaden er fin. Man vælger en ret fra menukortet.

Koh Rong Sanloem is an amazing island - beautiful and chilled out. Sara Resort is located near to other restaurants etc in Saracen Bay. The resort staff were super friendly. Prices in the restaurant were more expensive than other local eating places, but the food was good. The pool and pool area were fantastic, with plenty of loungers. We had a budget AC room. Shower was good and air conditioning was ok. Mattress was super firm though, which meant uncomfortable nights sleep - they could do with either purchasing proper mattress toppers or memory foam mattresses. I asked for a topper and was given an extra duvet, which did little to make it comfortable. A shame, as that was the only negative to our stay.

A very Nice place to stay at. Just at the water. Great food and comfortable room. There are something to wish for, but it’s Cambodia. Little laid back and relaxed attitude. Just love it.
