Auberge au Phil de l'Eau

The hostess was very welcoming. I was upgraded to a bigger room at no extra cost. Room very spacious, all amenities included for shower, very comfortable, had a great night sleep. Merci 😊

Un acceuil sympatique et avenant.

We stayed at the property for New Year. We enjoyed walking in the areas around (Val David and Val Morin) in the day and sitting infront of the cosy fire in the evening. If you want a peaceful get away, this is the place for you. Plus the omelette at breakfast was yummy! Enjoy!

Très beau décor

Not sure why this place gets good ratings. It’s was such a disappointment! It’s a small old house converted into an Auberge. It must be at least 70 years old. It has NO AIR CONDITIONING! That means that when you walk in, you smell old, musty heavy air and it stank! Wouldn’t be surprised if there was mold. No front desk. No place to leave the keys when you leave. My room did not have its own bathroom. The floors and stairs creek so much that you hear everyone come in and leave. The front door stays unlocked all night, so anyone can come in and out at any time, all in an area with intermittent internet service. Sketchy and scary! Wouldn’t even consider eating there even though breakfast was included.

Nous avons passé une très belle nuit chez Marie-Noëlle ! Un accueil chaleureux, une chambre très agréable et surtout un petit déjeuner au top fait maison (très bon pain, délicieuses confitures, excellente omelette, superbe crêpe au sirop d’érable…). Nous recommandons sans hésiter l’auberge au fil de l’eau pour passer un moment reposant, familiale et chaleureux. Merci encore !

Endroit très calme la seul chause pas de télévision dans la chambre

L'emplacement au bord du lac Ouimet rend l'endroit très paisible! Notre hôte Marie-Noel était très courtoise et sympathique! L'omelette du petit déjeuner délicieuse et aérienne Nous recommandons cet endroit!

Très bel accueil, gentil et généreux

Our trip was all about our 3 year old grandson and his mom. Unfortunately, our rental was definitely not kid/family friendly. Very isolated and at least 30 minutes away from the first town. No TV or pool and the lake was not to swim in. We decided to leave after the first night because our grandson was being what a toddler is and we felt bad for the other renters. We paid the $300 for the second night even though we left one day early. Not recommended unless you’re aiming to retreat from everything and everyone for a day or two

A lovely property, very quaint and comfortable. The rooms are very basic but have everything you need. In our room the bathroom was just outside, but it was dedicated to us. The dining room (breakfast included) has wonderful views over a small lake. And the owner is very warm and helpful.

L'auberge, pleine de charme, est située au bord d'un petit lac. Le lieu est calme, tranquille au bord de la nature. Une grande salle de vie très chaleureuse animée par les flammes de la cheminée, des fauteuils bien confortables et de grandes fenêtres donnent sur la terrasse au bord de l'eau. L'accueil des hôtes est convivial et très sympathique. Les chambres très confortables et agréables. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux et très bon
