I used a wash cloth to wash the table legs and the vent in the bathroom
there was no plug for the tub (the provided one when I asked)
there was no powder creamer in the room
I was unclear when the breakfast was available (earlier would be better)
there was no kleenex (typically this is expected)
I needed to stay late and I recognize the extra charge for not checking out by 11 (charged 25 per hour late)
the service checking in was fabulous!

I chose Cardinal Court Motel after reading many positive reviews. I don't normally stay at drive-up motels, but the reviews and location made me feel confident about booking.
My first impression was positive. The room appeared tidy, the property was reasonably well kept, and the staff were friendly.
Unfortunately, the bathroom was a major disappointment. There was visible dirt along the baseboards, in the corners, and around the doorway. One of the bath towels had a black hair on it, and when I used a hand towel to dry my face after washing it, it had an unpleasant odour. When I inspected the shower, the shower curtain also had a strong odour, was discoloured, and felt old and worn. The bathtub and shower didn't appear clean or sanitary, so my friend and I chose not to shower.
The beds were okay, but the pillows were small and uncomfortable. For me, cleanliness and comfort are my highest priorities, and this motel fell short in both areas.
Upon check-in, I found it unusual that I wasn't asked to provide a security deposit. I was also told that breakfast would be served the next morning, but not what was included. I could have asked, but I think that's information guests would normally be given at check-in. The driveway and entrance were also very dark at night, and we almost didn't see a child riding a scooter.
Overall, while the staff were pleasant, the lack of cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, means I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.

Room had multiple visible red blood stains on the bedding, floor, and bathroom wall/outlet when we checked in late at night. Sheets smelled laundered but were clearly stained. I documented everything with photos and reported it to the manager in the morning. He dismissed it and refused a refund. Expedia support contacted the property but was also refused. This is a sanitation issue, not a preference issue. I would not stay here again.

The room was very large with 2 big beds, though the bathroom was very tiny. The motel reminded me of traveling with my parents during the 70's on a road trip. Its dated, but comfortable. The carpet had a big stain...so though I felt the room was clean, I wasn't comfortable walking on the carpeted floor and wore slippers. The continental breakfast was simple...bagels and yogurt in a small fridge. The office hours didn't start until 8:30 which is a little late if you want to hit the road early and grab a quick breakfast. But overall, everything was good. Our thanks to the staff.

Check in girl was super friendly. Our room was number 14 and it was quiet and clean. Only issue was the TV did not work. Other than that it was a great stay.
