Colonial 900 Motel

Got a room other than advertised. Was not offered a discount. Room wasn't entirely clean, spider webs on the floor around the bedside stand. Kitchenette with no toaster, oven/range was unplugged and would need $15 fee to reconnect power.

Cute little motel surrounded by trees, nature, and a mountain view. The location is easy and convenient to both the main town area and Kawkawa Lake. Easy highway access too. Our room was clean, quiet, and we appreciated the air conditioning in the hot weather. There’s a couch, table, fridge, and coffee maker, which was helpful since a lot of restaurants were closed during the pandemic. Overall a really nice stay, the owner Simon was really friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in Hope!

A bit elderly but effort to maintain has occurred. Project car in parking area is a negative. Parking is tight. Management is very conscientious.

we were a bit frustrated that there was nobody on site during check in or check out. We were a bit early for the check in but still expected somebody to be there. Had to call a number and wait for someone to show up

Older facility but rooms are comfy and very clean. Manager/owner a pleasure to deal with.

A very nice small motel. A large room with leather Settee and chair. The bed was very comfortable. No kettle but used the coffee machine to make tea. Good location with a restaurant next door and a Home restaurant down the road. From here we drove along the Fraser Canyon and visited the Othello tunnels. Both a must see. Very good for what we paid. I would recommend

Stayed here whilst passing through Hope in way to Jasper from Vancouver. Changed rooms, as first suffered from leaky guttering over the door and lack of WiFi signal. Motel a bit tired, but owner very amenable. Not much to see or do in Hope. Would carry-on and stay further north next time.

This hotel is on par with the other hotels in Hope. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was very damp - there was condensation on the inside of the windows every morning, and the room smelled a little musty. Excellent restaurant right next door, hotel was quiet at night, service was good.

The furniture was threadbare and worn. The suite has not been updated in years. Service was friendly and efficient and the room was quiet

Friendly staff that is working hard to keep the property nice. There was a bit of garbage on the floor in the room when we arrived (candy wrappers in the corner) and we could hear our neighbors very clearly in the next room - that said they did have loud voices. Would stay here again.

Very clean, check in was easy not much parking would be difficult for a big truck wi-fi was very slow over all a quant little place

I wanted to let the owner know,that I would be checking in late but the Expedia email service did not work.

It was comfortable and quiet. Would have enjoyed looking at the green space but it the remaining grass needed to be cut.

The hotel was quiet and clean. Close to other services like restaurants and coffee shops.

I didn’t like hearing the noise of living things scuttling about in the walls in the morning

Booked online 30 minutes prior to arrival. Manager phoned to confirm conditions and arrival and then phoned again to determine if substitute rooms was OK. Desk clerk was expecting us and called us by name. Room had separated beds from sitting area, nice. Bathroom was small but serviceable. Cleanliness was good but general maintenance could be picked up a notch. For the money charged it was more than adequate. The restaurant next door was great for dinned but not open for breakfast. There were no other options within site but that was OK as brunch in Merritt.
