Corporate Stays Le Shaughn Apartments

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. AVOID at all costs. Took us 2 Hours to check-in!! We had to go to their office to check in which is not located beside the building. Once we arrived, there was no one at the tiny office room, to check us in DURING BUSINESS HOURS. We had to wait in front of their office while we tried calling them multiple times and they would not pick up their phone call. We finally could reach them through their emergency line. We were also told that they were overbooked and had to move us to another building which we had no choice but to take. Parking was also a headache. We asked for parking and they gave us a spot at literally the far bottom end corner of the entire parking lot which had no elevator access. We had to take stairs with our heavy suitcases!! Also finding the parking lot was insane. There was no written instructions or diagram of where the parking was located. They just told us off their memory and we were told to find it on our own. We circled around the building for 30 minutes to finally find the underground parking.The entire time I was telling myself i should have just booked a regular hotel, what was I thinking. Finally got to our room and I smell a foul smell coming from the place. It's a very unpleasant smell engraved into the walls of the room, I tried airing it out but it would just come back. Also the place was gross, hair in the dirty bathtub, dusty light switches, stains on the kitchen table and chair, thin mattress. AVOID!

Excellent location. Wish I had read the “small print” before booking. Construction next door was loud. Clean unit and the concierge was excellent

All was good. Except the construction under the windows from 7.30am-5pm. Otherwise was excellent.

A bit of inconvenience having to register at a different location.

The place was clean, not noisy (so we slept well) and close to step Catherine and the office. Sorry, just realized after that I kept the garbage bags in the entrance inside by mistake. Thank you!

I travel to Montreal about 4x/year and will definitely stay at Le Shaughn Apartments again. The rooms (actually apartments) are beautiful, modern and clean. I save money because they have fully-functioning kitchens, so I bring all my food. They each have their own washer/dryer, too.

The parking amount was $30 per day which I parked on next street that there was a hotel and it was $15 per day.

This apartment was ideal. The layout, space, location, cleanliness, kitchen was everything I'd hoped for and more. Only thing I didn't care for was having to pick up "key" (access code) at a seperate location. Having to travel from airport to first location and then back onto transit to get to apartment at second location wasn't convenient. Otherwise was a two-thumbs up experience.

Great place to stay, close to amenities and public transit. Paid parking available close by for $15/night. A lot of the conveniences of home available, but missing a few items to make it fully functional. Would recommend for anyone wanting more of an apartment experience vs. hotel living.

It was well prepared. Shampoo, body wash, detergent, couple more extra towels. But I would expect bigger size of shampoo and body wash for those who will stay more than two days. It was nice place, closed to the bus stop, grocery market.

Once you get comfortable with the location and get your bearings, it is a centrally located hotel within easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops. There is a Supermarket about 4 blocks over that is handy for getting the essentials and taking advantage of the kitchen. Parking situation is not well explained during booking or during check-in but I would suggest not to take advantage of the parking in the building as Corporate Stays charges $30 per 24 hours when there is 24 hour parking in the Nouveau Hotel one building over for $15 (with in and out privileges). Laundry detergent and washer/dryer in the suite which is convenient. One small addition which would be beneficial is to provide dish towels so that you have something to dry dishes if you are only washing a couple plates/glasses rather than running the entire dishwasher for a small load. Also would have liked to have full explanation of the fitness facilities available during check-in.

Appartement cosi avec tout le nécessaire que ce soit en électro ménager ou confort. Pratique pour personne venant passer un séjour en centre-ville. Je le recommande fortement vu le prix et la qualité.

Wish I could have been able to increase the heat....

good location, simple and clean

This is a great place to stay, close to everything. You have to check in at a different place then the apartments, it was a $60 cab ride from the airport and the one stop, so best to call a uber. Very simple, clean, updated apartment. It has everything you need if you want to cook your own meals. Bring your own coffee, sugar, dryer sheets and salt and pepper, those are the only things that we needed that we didn't have.

Overall it was a good stay, the pros were -full kitchen with pots, pans, ect. -tv had cable, Netflix, YouTube, ect. - the location was amazing and near everything the city had to offer. Cons - not very good service -keypad wouldn’t work on the first night, it took almost 45 minutes to get into the room. - it was very had to find the corporate stay headquarters on the first night because it wouldn’t show up on my iphone maps. And it took 20 minutes of walking in below freezing temperature to find it. Overall the first night was very bad because of the service but besides that it was a very good stay.
