Days Inn by Wyndham Surrey

I checked in quite late and was greeted by the friendliest young man. Had a lovely little chat. Checking out was a just as friendly older gentleman! Hotel was very clean, quiet. Bed is a little firm.

Well what can I say, when we were driving down to the hotel we were joking about what sort of dive will it be this time. How wrong were we! Every hotel we have stayed in with this price bracket is being milked for all it is worth with them being dirty and in disrepair. But this is a diamond in the rocks and happy to be proven wrong. Polite staff and front counter is manned, the super long hallway spotless, towels in the bathroom where a decent size, not oversized tea towels. The breakfast was a proper breakfast as well. This hotel is being treated as business, not as a cash cow and I believe the owners are in it for the long term. Could I find fault? Yes because I'm picky when it comes to something that is hard to fault. In our bathroom, there were a couple of tiles that had been missed when grouting, I offered to fix this if they had some on site but they did not. The only place I managed to find a bit of untidiness was the stairwell beside the elevator which just needed a quick vacuum. We will stay here again even if it means we have to drive further, place its only a 5 minute walk to the metro. Totally recommend this place.

We had a great stay here, clean room and very good beds also staff was friendly.
