Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Sudbury

Hot tub was shut down first night we were there . Rooms are outdated and ours was not very clean a sock under our bed and empty water bottle . Service and food is great for breakfast

This is obviously an older hotel being upgraded. Not sure if it is new to being a Fairfiled but the rooms were on the small side compared to others in the chain. There is some new carpeting, furnishings etc and im sure once its done it will be nice. Our A/C was set to 60 but it never got really cool so we went a bought a fan to help. The pillows were thin and uncomfortable so we went out and purchased a couple of pillows.The breakfast was very minimal and what little there was was empty. We were there at 8 am so not expected to be that low then. We ended up going out for breakfast the second day. So after 2 nights, purchasing a fan, pillows and breakfast it became a pricey stay. This hotel was not worth the nightly rate we paid when other nicer hotels in the area were less. We didn't know this beforehand or we would of made different choices. We were with another couple that chose this hotel, they had the same experience. Hopefully once the hotel is upgraded more it will be better. It was clean and staff was friendly.

It’s nice especially for Sudbury. Just way over priced… but Sudbury is in general anyways. Breakfast is pretty decent. Pool is small.

My spouse and I stayed here 1 night while passing through Sudbury on our Motorcycles trip. The manager was kind enough to offer to let us park our bikes under the covered unloading area overnight because big storms were passing through. The hotel was newly renovated and offered a nice hot breakfast in the morning.

Highly recommended.. very clean. Staff was amazing and very welcoming.. breakfast amazing..we had the family suit.. very spacious, washroom very clean 👌 👏

I booked this reservation week’s ago, and called the hotel the day before to confirm the reservation, and to request a room on the top floor. (I find the top floor is always the quietest). The clerk on the phone confirmed the reservation and confirmed we would be on the top floor. When we arrived, we were told that since I had booked an “accessible” room, we would be on the first floor and could NOT be moved. I didn’t realize I had booked an accessible room and told her we did not need that type of room, AND that I had called the day before where the staff confirmed the top floor. She told me we had the only accessible room and it could not be changed since it had been booked through Expedia. I told her if they gave us another room, the room would then be available for someone who might actually need it! Still no bending on the room assignment. Very disappointing customer service. The determining habit seemed to be that we had booked on Expedia….. Thankfully the room ended up being fine and quiet, but we seemed we were penalized for booking through Expedia.

We loved our stay here! The room and entire hotel were very clean and modern and the staff were all so friendly and helpful! The continental breakfast was fantastic both mornings!

Small room with old and dated furniture, TV and washroom. Bed was ok. Breakfast bar was fabulous! We only stayed one night.

This older building has some upgrades and is very well maintained. Breakfast was great, pool was very clean and the staff provided discounts for restaurants close by. Only complaint, the TV didn’t have a family/kids channel. You can log into Netflix etc if you have them but we don’t so the options were very limited.
