Holiday Inn CONFERENCE CTR EDMONTON SOUTH by IHG

The primary problem with this hotel is the smell of Indian food from the Monsoon Bistro that permeates the entire facility. I love Indian food, but I don't want the odours overpowering my senses while I try to enjoy a glass of wine or sleep.

Location polite helpful staff. Amazing Indian restaurant attached to the Holiday Inn.

When we got to the hotel, the receptionist was very unhelpful (Monica). It is not until I requested to speak to a manager that the tone changed. For the price we paid, I’d save my money and go elsewhere. Washrooms weren’t clean and it’s better to do breakfast à la carte.

I specifically asked for a room with 2 beds and received a room with one small bed. They couldn't accommodate and lied and said I reserved a room with a single bed. I have proof that I didn't. My mom and I both have bad arthritis and we had to sleep on a cot!!!. They also overcharged me. They made me pay over $100 than what was listed on Expedia for a smaller room!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our first stay here. Room was lovely, bed good, breakfast was excellent

The service was absolutely lovely. Everyone from the front desk ladies, to the servers at Ricky's. They were all so truly amazing and made the stay wonderful!

Parking was good, furniture a little dated and rooms a bit small. Carpets might need cleaning. Bed was comfortable and sheets clean. Bathroom seemed clean and shower and water was good, just a little small and tub dated.

The room description said city view, we looked outside and saw a warehouse out the windows, definitely shouldn't be classified as city view. There was a concert in a banquet room under us, at 845am they began testing music extremely loudly and saying testing for 1 hour, so loud it was as if they were in our room we were trying to sleep in and that ended that fast. That night the concert actually happened and it was extremely loud in our room until 1130pm. Do not stay in 253 or that end of the hotel. Staff for the stay were nice.

Noisy location, busy place

The property is nice, had a breakfast place (ricky's) and then an Indian restuarant. The room could be cleaner. The bathroom had hair throughout from a previous stay.

The parking was a little tight in some areas but otherwise it is a good hotel.

I appreciated how much parking was available and the food in the Monsoon restaurant was amazing!

Not much options in breakfast. Hardly anything vegetarian. Too noisy in the morning in hallway. Staff was talking too loud when they were cleaning rooms.

Asked if I could get a room earlier but the staff was not even helpful.

Pet friendly, excellent staff!

The room was average and clean. There is a loud train right behind but they offer ear plugs. The staff qas very friendly. My only real disappointment was that the Ricky's Grill closed sharply at 8. However the Indian restaurant is open till 11.
