Hotel Louisbourg

No staff existent at all. No elevators or help to carry the suitcases over 20+ flights of stairs. The room is small and filled with extra furniture so you have no space, no view

Room was so cold, the receptionist was so rude and didn’t even care about us, the room was dusty and not clean we found hair everywhere.

La réception est très difficile à trouver et n’est même pas dans le même bâtiment que notre chambre, le service téléphonique est très lent et j’ai du rappeler à plusieurs reprises pour avoir une réponse! La chambre ne ressemble pas du tout à ce qui est présenté sur le site internet et, de plus, n’était pas très bien nettoyé (passable mais pas propre)

All around a nice location for being in the old city.

Déjeuner inclus offrant peu de choix, l’hôte de l’hôtel, situé à côté, n’est pas toujours présent aux heures d’ouvertures et ne répond pas au téléphone.

Hotel Louisbourg felt like you were staying in your home. Starting off with the pros; This hotel's location is perfect, the staff was is easily accomodating by phone, and it felt like you were staying in a family home. As far as the cons, the age of the building is both a pro and con. While the old structure nakes it feel like home, creeky floords, damages fixtures, and old plumbing could resuin our 3 days there, we did not see one singl Even with the above cons, i would still recommend this stay. Just make sure to be clear.

Location location location. That’s all it really is. The hotel has no staff at all, rooms are efficient. Floors were dusty, amenities are bare minimum (bring all your own toiletries - they provide 1 mini bar of soap, 2 toilet paper rolls, box of tissues, rough towels, mini shampoo for 1 day only, old coffee, no stirrers) This place is a dream if you do not like contact with people. There’s no staff or front desk. No amenities at all. What’s great, is location. You’re walking distance from every thing. We found 3 little markets near by for basics (shampoo, bar soap, water, snacks) Super close to cafes. The breakfast is restaurant next door but only open Friday, sat, Sunday. Which sucks since we stayed all week and weren’t able to use coupons other than a couple days. However service and basic menu was really good (eggs + bacon + potatoes; crepe + syrup; waffle + syrup; coffee). LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION THATS ALL!!!

Property is in a great location. Walkable to everything. We had a room to the back and therefore it was very quite. The room could have been a bit cleaner.

Location,,, Location,,, Location Old and quaint overlooking Rue St Louis minutes from Chateau Frontenac, Place d'Armes, St Louis Gate and Citadelle de Quebec. Hardwood floors, granite walls, and a (non-working) coal fireplace. Don't let the worn carpet in the stairway fool you, the room itself (superior) was spotless with a comfortable bed. Modern fire doors, sprinkler system, electrical and bath fixtures. Would recommend.

Everything was overall horrible. I want a refund for the stay. Staff was rude, amenities were broken. No breakfast was provider even though we got vouchers.

Vraiment bien

The room was clean, utilitarian with a bit of charm. Location is everything here, and as a solo female I felt comfortable and safe. I could not figure out how to turn lights on in the upper stairwells, so that was not ideal carrying luggage to the 4th floor. Bring your own toiletries. Enjoy the proximity to beautiful Vieux-Quebec!

The room was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Be aware that the restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday so no breakfast in those days. There were a few lights out in common areas. Location is excellent.

La chambre n’était très propre. Le miroir avait des traces de doigts, de la poussière sur les meubles et même un bout de faux cils sur la table de chevet. Par contre la salle de bain très propre et les lits aussi. Tout ce fait à pied, donc si vous êtes vraiment en visite pour être à visite la ville c’est parfait pour le prix. Nous avons eu un beau séjour.
