Our room was quiet and comfortable. The air-conditioning worked like a beast and kept the room super cool. I liked the unique look of the room and slept really well. I will return 😁

After reading many really bad reviews left by travellers last year on Google, I was kind of weary to book a room there. But since a friend of mine was already renting a room there for already a few days before I got there, he told me everything was fine and not to worry.
After checking in at the address besides the hotel, we were given our key, and made our way up some steep steps, along windind corridors inside this quaint, century old building.
Once in the room, which was small but functional, I first noticed how clean everything was; the bathroom was impeccable and rhe bedding tidy, just as you would expect.
I was happily surprised once I got in my room and it made our stay that much more pleasant!
This is a "self-serve" kind of place: there is no cleaning staff that comes and makes your bed and cleans the room every day, and cheking out is simply leaving your keys in a small basket before the exit door.
When checking in, you are given a breakfast coupon per day, which you have at the restaurant just below the hotel, and it did not disappoint: you have 5 choices of a fixed menu, like 1 egg, bacon, home fries, toast and coffee or yogourt and fruit, or crepes ( French, thin pancakes), etc.
The only thing that is missing is parking, which is available at a 5 minute walk, ar a public parking lot.
I would also recommend this place for its location, since you are right in the middle of the old walled city, which you walk into right from the hotel's front door!

This place was fine. A nicely maintained small old building in old Quebec City. Rooms are small and walls are thin, which is to be expected. However, there is no staff on site between 10pm and 10am. Just an emergency number. While this is increasingly common, it is not something that I personally was comfortable with here and didn’t know coming in. A So, FYI.

Point fort : tres bien situé dans le vieux Québec près des resto du FEQ de la promenade près du château pas besoin de prendre le bus tout ce fait à pied wowwwww et tout près il y a un parking
Service avec le personnel souriant et impeccable nous avons manqué de rien
Point faible : les murs était tacher de cafe et la clim arrête de fonctionner à 7:30 donc si vous etes dans les chambres arrières l’odeur du resto déjeuner à côté entre dans la chambre pas tres très agréable

Great location and price but definitely needs upgrades. Having more info re: nearby parking lots would be helpful for staff. Update the photos as well as those don’t reflect the rooms at all. Strange hotel overall.

Belle chambre, très petite, literie et chambre très propre. Bien située au coeur du vieux Québec à proximité de toutes les activités et restos. Air climatisé, TV, internet rapide. Chambre située au 4e étage, aucun ascenseur. Immeuble rustique.Garage intérieur payant situé à un coin de rue. Seul désagrément la machine Expresso Keurig ne fonctionnait pas, impossible de la démarrer au matin. Il semble que le client précédent ait eu le même problème car le réservoir d'eau était déjà rempli. Demeure un bon choixmalgré un prix assez élevé.

Our stay was very pleasant and unique overall. However, the layout was quite confusing, as the reception and guest rooms are located in two separate buildings. Parking was also inconvenient, requiring us to leave our car about two blocks away, which made unloading our luggage difficult.
There was no breakfast offered, but since the hotel is located in Old Québec, there are plenty of excellent cafés and restaurants within walking distance, so finding breakfast wasn’t a problem.

Great location with tons of restaurants everywhere! Great breakfast at the restaurant, close to all shopping, bus tours, seconds away from water view!
Beds were comfy, nice AC, as it was quite muggy during the summertime in July. Rooms had hairdryer, shower amenities as well.

Pros: Great location nice included breakfast at the restaurant next door.
Cons: walls are thin so need ear plugs. No elevator so pack light.
Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay and a decent for Old Quebec.

The location is fantastic. We were very thankful for air conditioning, as well.
The bathroom was not particularly clean, and the shower did not drain correctly. I get that it’s an old building, but we could only shower in 1 minute bursts or else the water level would get quite high.
The bed was simple but comfortable enough.
The breakfast at the restaurant wasn’t terrible, but they are very understaffed so expect to spend 60 to 90 minutes on breakfast.

The emplacement is perfect you are in the old Quebec and you have a lot of restaurants nearby! The only things is the parking you have the find a public parking and hopefully you will have one close to the hotel but you have a lot of choices for parking but keep in mind that you have to walk to go to the hotel

Reception gave us an address for the parking ($48/2days) but it was a jewelry store. Has to go in and get directions. We had no glasses in our room and reception was not able to help us so we went to the restaurant next door to get them. Lots of stairs so not good for people who can’t do stairs. Our room was clean but felt like we were in the basement. Wasn’t terrible but would not return.
