not aware it was under construction No clean mugs for tea in the spa service waiting area. Food was delicious This place has good potential but we were disappointed that it did not give us a relaxing pampered spa feel

Clean and quiet room.

This is an amazing property, not to be missed. A stunning location, beautiful rooms and the breakfast was fantastic. Can’t wait to visit again!

Furniture in room was a bit tired. Bathroom fan did not work and barn door compromised privacy. But……the fireplace and view were great! Staff service was excellent. Grounds were lovely! Would definitely return.

Lovely hotel that exceeded our expectations. We stayed at the Eco Lodge and were delighted to find that we had a little patio that we could enjoy and had our coffee out there in the sunshine among the flowers. Very helpful stuff and beautiful artwork throughout the property.

A very unique location and main building. Lovely pool and hot tub by the eco-lodge. Wakefield is a very pretty town with great places to walk. Many interesting sites close by. Best rooms are in the new eco-lodge.

This is in a remote location. In the area for a wedding, but there was no available transportation to and from the venue. It is a beautiful place to stay,.

Very nice place, starting to show some wear though. Construction ongoing on the property but no noise. Quiet and calm. The king room with the tub is not on the main property, its in another buildin

The property is actually in Gatineau park and has loads of hiking trails just out the front door. It’s very quiet and peaceful and a lovely walk down the road finds you in Wakefield with cafes and restaurants. Jeff, a maintenance guy was super friendly and had great suggestions. Only issue was with the AC unit in our room was leaking water.

Fabulous inn and feed was outstanding

The property is in a beautiful small village, ample parking near it, it lays at a dead end so quite and no other traffic then hotel traffic. Close to restaurants and river. Rooms were very nice and beautiful. Well maintained, cleaning staff did thorough job cleaning

Comfortable bed, nice room in Eco-River lodge with patio however it’s not sound proof. You can hear the guests upstairs walking, moving chairs etc; I Was woken up at 2 am by the noise. Reception apologized and suggested next time I take a room upstairs not to be disturbed. But that means no patio. I had to ask twice for face cloths and one of the drawers was broken and they were not able to fix it. Otherwise a good place. Would return. I think they need more patio umbrellas though at the pool as some chairs are in full sun all day long. I was there during the heatwave and additional umbrellas would have been appreciated. I really liked that it’s a short walk to the water where additional restaurants and cafes are located. There are also cute little boutiques, bakeries and a general store. Nice pathway to walk or bike along the water. Love the area.

I couldn’t imagine a better place for a solo getaway much needed! I was able to find my center near the waterfall!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is very nicely looking, the rooms were nice. We had some bugs in the room (bathroom) but this is understandable with the forest right around the corner. The pool & jacuzzi were nice, during our stay they were pretty empty so that was nice. My primary complain would be parking. There is parking near the hotel and I swear that Bull wasn’t guests. So parking under some bushes god knows where wasn’t cool. Otherwise everything else was fine. The TV has channels but stuff like music whatever were glitchy / buffering. Didn’t use WiFi, not sure if there was one as it was never brought up, but we weren’t there for TV or WiFi just sharing experience. The bars in the town are very nice. I would suggest going to places where people are, the nearby coffee place while pricey was super good. Overall we had great time. The rooms where clean other then having to kill bugs but again forest nearby so kind of a given.
