The Northland has been completely remodeled and is absolutely spotless. Very friendly staff. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. The location is close to all amenities and everything is within walking distance. Highly recommend 5 Stars!

Easy parking and check in. I like the location to the north of greater Sudbury. Enough breakfast options to get you on your way.

Check in was easy and there was room in lot for truck with trailer. Breakfast in morning onsite was a bonus.

Service was fast and friendly and the room was super clean. 10/10

Please fix the stairs going down to Rooms 129-131. Some of the stairs are loose and could cause a fall.

It was good but the checking in and out process was rude and I feel like I won't be back because theirs no fan in the bathrooms

We stayed in a basement room that has not been updated yet. Room 133. It was a nice big size but it had only a fan for airflow and the room really needs a dehumidifier to absorb the water in the air from the shower and from the summer temperatures. Our clothes felt damp the next morning and our towels from the day before were not dry. There also is not a lot of light in this room. Ask for an updated room to avoid these priblems.

Very good location before traveling to Manitoulin Islands. Nice renovation, just didn't like the carpeted floors.. smelled cleaned

Very clean new and confortable

We booked and paid for our room two days in advance. However, at check-in, we were asked to pay an additional $200 as a deposit. The front desk staff claimed it was mentioned in the booking details, but we double-checked our Expedia confirmation and found no mention of it. Since we had already paid for our accommodation (2 nights), we didn’t have much choice and ended up paying the deposit using my credit card. At checkout, we were told the deposit would be refunded within 3–4 days. While this was frustrating, the rest of our stay was smooth — the hotel was clean and well-maintained, and there were plenty of fast food options just a short 2–3 minute drive away. Would recommend the hotel for its cleanliness and location, but wish the deposit policy was more transparent at the time of booking.

There was alot of broken glass almost at the door. But renovations are still underway and it was a good stay. Would stay there again.
