Residence Inn by Marriott Toronto Vaughan

Room and pool area was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a great bonus. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

I chose Residence Inn at Vaughn/Toronto for its attractive pricing coupled with a location that enable me to easily walk to the TTC subway station. I found my room as well as the common areas to be well-kept and clean. The complementary breakfast was of adequate pickings with items rotated so that in the course of my six-night stay I never found myself wishing for more variety. My only wish for improvement was that there was a bar or informal eatery in the hotel or within walking distance. The surrounding area has major construction going on. I suppose I could've walked down the street to IKEA for a plate of meatballs & gravy.

Very relaxing weekend overall, wasn't a huge fan of the parents of the kids sports team in town for the weekend drinking in the pool area on Saturday night but other than that, not bad. Breakfast is amazing. Looking forward to our next stay.

Check in was very slow..tried running my credit card for deposit several times.didn’t work.nothing wrong with my credit card..problem with their machine or person trying to do it. Had to spend alot of money on my debit card..got it back next day..had to wait a looooooooong time to see if room was ready..terrible check in..

The staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were so helpful and kind to our kids.

The staff at the Residence Inn Toronto were exceptional. They were friendly and pleasant to be around, and also prompt in keeping the breakfast items replenished. The suite with a kitchenette was stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be back!!

Conveniently located to TTC station, walking distance. Great complimentary breakfast. Quiet rooms, easy to get good night sleep.

We had an issue with the night employee Scott, but was quickly resolved by their manager Lily. Otherwise, the property was great and up to our standards! Their morning checkout employee Ashley was also very kind and courteous.

Breakfast was very good, lots of hot and cold items. Room was good. Needs better mattress for pullout couch. Charge for second car is a problem. Would recommend removing this charge.

Everything was good except we had some children running in the hall until 1:30 am, even after we had contacted the front desk. Breakfast was good, room was clean

Free breakfast was a good perk. Staff was attentive. Suite with kitchenette and separate bedroom was good, but be aware you need to go through the bedroom to access the bathroom, so you lose some privacy. My only major complaint is that on both days of our stay they were doing noisy maintenance work in the pool area and no notice of this was given. It was a cold and rainy weekend, so we were looking forward to spending lots of time at the indoor pool.

Excellent location and service

Clean room, comfortable bedding, beautiful suite

I will never book with Expedia again. This dump was no where near the destination I wanted. That added to over 6 hours extra travelling and over $120. in added expenses. We booked in, and within 35 minutes we quickly realized this was not the hotel of choice for the entertainment in downtown Toronto, and a mistake was made. Management of this dump absolutely refused any compassion. They offered no compromise and wanted the full rate? We argued we were only here 35 minutes. They said, sorry we have to charge the full amount? They could have had an inconvenience charge, as a courtesy? I couldn't afford to take on the excessive expense, so we were stuck there. I had a previous abdominal aneurysm and heart attack, and an upcoming serious surgery for March 31st. The mental and physical toll this took on me was horrible. Our little holiday getaway was totally destroyed. The hotwl towels had their day and some had staining. They wrecklessly put rednecks on the same floor as us. They had kids in sports teams, and were downing alcohol by the pool while leaving the pool open to go go for their smokes. Drunk, they let these kids run wild in the hallway, screaming and yelling, while racing and playing hockey in the damned hallway?! They were too far gone to even notice their kids gone. Losers. I had to call the front desk repeatedly to send someone to get them out of the hallway. As soon as Security left, the kids returned to the hallway. Finally quiet at about 10:30p.m. Returned @7:30a.
