This was my second Sonder unit rental. I very much appreciate their services and convenience of using their app for everything from door codes and check in/out options, as well as communication with their customer service for support. Parking is definitely not convenient, however there are several underground lots with a very reasonable distance ($25/24hours, which is not horrible for a major city core). The units at Penny Lane were nicely furnished, and the building was clean. The front door seemed to stick, so you have to pull the main door tightly behind you to ensure it's properly closed. The unit that I rented was great, although it did have a few issues - the bathtub drain would not release, and the kitchen lights were all burnt out. I did contact Sonder, and they did have someone look at the issues while I was there. The bathtub drain plug was removed and replaced, however the issue with the kitchen lights was not resolved by the time I left. There were other overhead lights and lamps available, so this didn't necessarily take away from my stay. The one thing that I did not see mentioned in previous reviews are that these units all look into each other over a courtyard. A good use of space, however it does take away from any privacy. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great property for the price. Had everything we needed and enjoyed having a separate bedroom and living room so we could put our baby to bed and still enjoy the kitchen and living room. Full kitchen supplied with everything you need from cheese grater to a kettle. Loved the location of old Montreal, easy enough to walk to everything and fantastic restaurants around. It rained and snowed the whole time and we still enjoyed walking all around. Will stay again😊

Sonder Montreal are all pretty great but this on is my favourite. Perfect location, characterful suite and on top of two great restaurants, with many more nearby. Great stay.

I will never book a Sonder property again. I completely understand how everyone takes pictures to make a space look much bigger than it actually is and I never expected that the room we booked would look exactly like the beautiful property in the photos. However, I would have expected it to offer a similar space. It was not even close. The room was a simple dingy hotel room rather than a large sleeping area next to an even bigger living space including a beautiful sitting area with exposed brick and large windows. This was a huge disappointment after carefully selecting the specific room we wanted for our get away. We were also given the wrong access code and could not get into the room when we arrived. We had to call for a new code which was never updated in our account on the app. It was certainly not worth the money.

Overall a fantastic property. Perfectly located, everything is well stocked/prepared, and spacious.

The apartment was very nice and clean and in a great location. Only issue was a few times everyday you could hear loud music through the walls.

Nice clean, secure and quiet apartment located a few blocks from parking. A few steps from restaurants and a 15 minute walk to the shopping district. The touch pad key entrance needed a few extra taps to light up.New battery needed?Communication was timely and accurate making this stay easy.

Location of this place was ideal to all the places we wanted to see. Many great restaurants and cafe within walking distance. The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

It was wonderful!! Everything we visited was walking distance..except to and from airport! Wonderful location for hockey game at Bell..a tea towel would have been nice! Will recommend to others…

Have a hard time to get in with the code. But everything is amazing.

Good location very clean and spacious room. The only thing that requires improvement is the water in the bathroom sink goes slow. Perfect stay!

The Montreal location was amazing! The service and people that worked there were consistently available and so kind! Would give this place a million stars if I could! Excited to be back in the summer.

Very spacious rooms, with all the amenities needed. Even washer and dryer. I will definitely recommend stayed here. I had a minor issue with the cod for entering the room but the customer service was fast an efficient. I recomend going to the restaurant Stellina that is roght next door.

I love the room its very clean and affordable price!

This was my first time staying at a Sonder property. I will definitely be back! The price was great, the location was great, close to the Metro and Old Montreal. The balcony was nice. Bed was comfy. All around a great place to stay.
