I was driving through 100 Mile House. I checked in at 11:30pm and they came down and happily let me into my room! Very clean room, sparkling, clean linen had a wonderful sleep comfortable bed.

This resort is obviously being renovated. Nothing was open but the motel. The restaurant, diner, pool, etc. had been closed by the health department. The 2 staff that we saw were very helpful and pleasant. We had to call the owner (obviously off-site somewhere) to get checked in and no one was available when we checked out. The room was clean but definitely needed upgrading. Their website should be amended so show the actual property. In the past I am sure it was a wonderful place to stay but would not recommend it now.

NOT AS ADVERTISED!!! It was a terrible looking junkyard!! There is no restaurant open or breakfast as advertised. the lobby was dark and dusty like no one cleaned it or cared at all! We walked out and refused to stay without even seeing our room

It was a health hazard. All the amenities were closed due to unsanitary conditions. The Provincial Health Authority advised boiling water even for brushing your teeth. An absolute disaster.

The name of resort has SPA, but there is no SPA. Website shows breakfast included, but it’s fake. There is no restaurant or breakfast. The room upstairs was suffocating, smelly, I was not able to stop 5 minutes. When I asked refund, the owner was rude, sent me at 9pm, without excuse or refund. Never recommend.

Easy check-in and spacious cabin. The property was in poor condition. Needs a good clean and some. Long term tenants, some questionable. Felt a little like something out of GTA during the evening.
No amenities as advertised. Great views and clean sheets, though.

Pros: Easy check-in, spacious cabin, clean bedding and gorgeous sunset and starry night.
Cons: Needs updating, breakfast and amenities not available. Long term tenants on site, some are questionable.
Takeaway - Big property but not enough staff to run it. The amenities were not available as advertised, so I dont think I would return in its current situation.

The Expedia ad says breakfast included, there is no breakfast or sauna. The hot water for the shower took a long time to arrive and was cool when it did. The room was good the setting in the forest is good if you are looking for a natural experience. With a little work would be a very good place to stay.

We arrived and there was no one at the front desk, the doors to the main building were locked. There was however signs from public health saying that the restaurant (including the free breakfast), spa and pools had been ordered closed due to health concerns and that the property was on a boil water advisory, so we couldn’t drink the water or brush our teeth with it. We had a service dog with us which also made it difficult as he couldn’t safely drink the water either. They charged our card for the full stay before we even saw the room (not just a hold). The room was ok but extremely run down. We ended up leaving and spending the night at the Days Inn in 100 Mile House, which was a much better stay, but we had to fight with the property for a refund.

The chalet itself was ok, but the dishes were dirty.
The manager did not tell us there is a boil water advisory. When we asked later after seeing the interior health sign, he told us to just run the water for three to five minutes and we would be fine. We were not provided with bottled water.
We chose this location for the pool and included breakfast. Both closed by interior health due to not meeting the safety requirements. When we asked about breakfast, the manager said they are doing renovations. No voucher or packaged breakfast was offered.
The grounds were unkempt with garbage strewn along the side of the main building. The "resort" seemed to be occupied by long term tenants with the fronts of units filled with garbage, broken vehicles and general mess.
The tenants beside our unit seemed to be using a mind altering substance, swearing and loudly arguing outside our cabin. We were not comfortable allowing our pre teen age children to play outside.
We wanted to like this place, but the title and advertised amenities (complete lack thereof) are blatantly misleading. As well, the manager did not respect our safety through the water advisory, tenants onsite and cleanliness of the property.

I booked this property weeks in advance and on the day of check in I had still not heard from them other than the Expedia booking confirmation. So I decided to call them from the road around 1 pm to confirm the room. The property answered my call and said "Oh I'm glad you called we do not have a room for you."
This is not located in an area with a lot of options, and I was lucky to scramble and find another hotel. It really is unacceptable for them to do that - imagine rolling into your reservation in the evening and finding they do not have a room - especially bad as I was travelling on a motorcycle, the weather was not great, and the next nearest town was another hour's ride away.

This used to be a wonderful resort a few years ago with cozy well equipped cabins. The place looks rundown now. Appliances in the cabins are falling apart, everything looks makeshift and cheap. Every time I walked into the office it was empty and had to call someone on the phone to check in or ask questions. The price included breakfast but no breakfast was served. I am quite disappointed at the current state of the resort.

Admittedly I was only there for one night and there was a large group activity on during my stay. The host was helpful but only gave the bare minimum of information, the property has so much potential however it’s rather tired which was disappointing and the fight with the cold or boiling hot shower was a challenge.

It is a beautiful place or once was. Needs a lot of work and it could be world class. Rooms are big clean with coffee maker, microwave, bar fridge. Beds are nice, just a very run down place. Cannot beat the price.
