This is a perfect motel to stay while exploring Bruce Peninsula. It is located approximately 1.5 hours from Tobermory. The property is kept VERY clean and the owners are very friendly. As a solo-traveler I needed a clean and comfortable place to stay. I found it in Sunny Motel.

I was originally weary of booking this spot because it didn't have any reviews. I knew the previous location and figured it was worth giving it a try, especially for the low cost that the rooms were going for. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. Check in was very easy. The hotel is being run by a young family who were very pleasant when we checked in. The room that we were in was number 2 and it was very small. We were 2 adults a tween staying in the space. Since we didn't spend much time in the room, it wasn't a deal breaker and we were fine. The room was very clean! We were surprised to have a deep soaker tub with jets which was nice touch. The linens on the beds good. The beds themselves - I found one comfortable and the other one not great. Upon check in there were 3 bottles of water in the room. The room also has a small fridge and microwave. The television has no cable but it a smart tv so we were able to connect our netflix and able to access youtube - plus I am sure all the other streaming channels. There were not many guests staying when we did but even the guest that was beside us for a night we barely heard. Unfortunately the restaurant attached to the building has yet to reopen but there are lots of other options close by. We will definitely stay at this hotel again!
