The Chateau

The stay was not that good as every night there was thumping from the upstairs until well after midnight. Also sleeping was very challenging as lights came on through the bedroom window from midnight until 4:00 ams. It would be a suggestion to put darker curtains in the bedroom.

Had to hunt for the bedding for the hide-a-bed. Very nice rooms. Comfortable beds. Host is very easy to communicate with.

The check-in was easy, the appartment was very clean and comfortable

Sorry, but this was absolutely not what we expected from the advertisment on hotels.com. The pictures on hotels.com are very nice, they show nice and good rooms. Reality is different: We had a very small appartment in the basement, no AC, partly no windows, no fresh air. No living room, filthy sleeping sofa. Needed to kill several spiders... Sorry, shouldn't be on hotels.com.

Upon check in, we noticed that the entire house had a housekeeping issue - it had not been properly cleaned in a long time. Floors were dirty and we swept them immediately, showers had mildew in all the corners, grease on top of the range hood, inside the microwave was filthy, BBQ looked like it had never been cleaned, and on and on…

Good location, interesting check in with digital key. Prefer a door code normally. Parking was nice, communication was great. Wish there were a few small amenities provided such as basic shower things. The kitchen wasn’t 100% clean. But overall will definitely recommend this location and if need be will stay here again.

Really Nice place to stay. Romans are really big, clean, wonderful view on the mountains. We were 8 ( 3 couple) to travel together and everybody hot their private restroom. Very well decorated.

This was a very odd stay for our party of 9. First of all, the posting provides an inaccurate description of the sleeping space. Pictures show access to downstairs basement suite, however that was blocked off and we were not able to accommodate all of our guests noted on the reservation. In addition, a space of the house was being occupied by another couple. No where was that mentioned! We were eating breakfast, listening to people in what seemed like the bathroom. We would have never selected this house knowing it was a shared space with someone else. We also didn’t have enough space to fit everyone since the posting showed more space than what was available. People were walking around the house at all hours of the day also making it very uncomfortable. Last thing is that no toiletries other than used soap bars were provided. By far the worst rental space we’ve booked so far.

The service lacking, i was unable to get the key to the building via their Igloo lock or their Kevo service. Ive request help a few times and clearly no response. The resident was very small, with our group it proved to be very crowed foe a party of 6. The basement suiet isnt suitable for thia group. The service is lacking. I wouldnt recoment this place. Heating is either too cold or too hot as well. Inhad to sleep with the window open which isnt ideal cause you can hear traffic noises.

Beautiful modern architecture in a very nice neighbourhood.

Quite simply, the properties advertised as a full building. Beautiful pictures of fireplace stairs, kitchen living room. However, we were in the basement. We thought the pictures represented the place. But in fact, they don’t. We wanted a refund, but the owner didn’t agree. We are still fighting through Expedia. This really ruined, our family vacation. We were expecting what the picture showed and ended up with nothing. Ended up staying in a different hotel and taking the loss if you rent this property, the basement area is nothing like what you see in the pictures.

This property was very clean and nice, the owners are extremely accommodating and helpful.

Deffinatly small space but work well for us!

Heating system doesn't working properly

It was a nice place to stay, able to pickup groceries to save money from always dining out. The property is divided into 3 main areas, which could be better labeled as to know which 1 you are staying at 1 front entrance and 2 rear entrances.

Clean quiet unit and property. There was no AC but they have multiple fans for use in all the rooms. Was a bit too small without a living room space and only 4 chairs for our family of 6. Limited kitchen utensils and cookware as well.

The accommodation was in the basement and wasn’t stated, check out very early and host were harsh, this is a place for 4 people not 6 as advertised

The place was nice and clean. However, it was quite a tight space. Even with the sheet of instruction, it was hard for us to find the entrance. We requested some items but got no response as it was through Expedia. Our room was near the trash area and trash were full, so there was some smell whenever we walked by, plus some cats attacked the trash can, so trash was flew everywhere. It was cleaned up the next day by the host though. Anyway, it was a good stay, just some minor maintenance issue (TV remote was out of battery, or trash issue). We would recommend the place once these issues are fixed.

Stained pillow case, only one used soap in the bathroom, empty shampoo bottle, can hear upstairs in the morning at 7am, can't sleep well, hard to find entrance

So many things to say about that SMALL place… First of all, the pictures posted on the website were in NO ways matching the reality. We were supposed to have a house, and ended up in the basement of this house. Practically no windows so the place was very dark. FURTHEMORE no soap or shampoo were given because it can be “allergic” but at the same time there were dirty used up sauces in the kitchen which can be allergic .. so what’s the point ???? And because its never ending everything was so dirty, hair in beds, stains in the oven, dirty carpet… We tried to call the host but he was not helpful at all. BIG DECEPTION FUYEZ !!!!!
