This is what can be called a 'charming inn' that is unique and not a cookie cutter chain hotel. This is always the place that we like to stop at as we travel back and forth from B.C. to Alberta.

The location is quite central and easy to walk to shops and restaurants in the town centre. The room was clean and quite large and delightful. The staff greeted us upon arrival and were very helpful, answering all our questions and assisted us in identifying place to visit. The food was very good at the restaurant/bar. Most importantly, the room was very clean and tidy, though the esthetics could really need some touch-ups (window screen bent, paint chipping on several walls, including bathroom. The bar/restaurant staff that we interacted with were all very lovely and friendly. Front desk was to have texted/called when the room was ready forgot to do so. I enjoyed the theme, reminiscent of a British B&B, though the common areas could do with a refresh of the fixtures/flooring. The bar/restaurant operates from 8am to 10pm, which is probably sufficient for most. Overall, I would stay at The Georgetown Inn again.

we were at the inn for the last tuesday of the month and very much enjoyed the fish and the irish live music top notch we will return oh the staff and room were all very very nice

Old school hospitality. The meals were obviously prepared with care and were delicious. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The gas fireplace was a bonus.
