Room was great and the hotel unique and inviting. Tried to watch a movie as they said they had prime for the upstairs rooms but we could not access it - we called the front desk but no answer and they did not return the call. Also the main area people were out drinking and visiting quite loudly - but did shut it down at approx 11.

Ambience was incredible

Very nice boutique hotel - very close to town. Staff SUPER friendly, very nice wine bar and restaurant downstairs. Very much an air b&b feel in a contemporary hotel

Very warm, comfortable boutique hotel. Amazing sitting lounge next to lobby for relaxing with a coffee & a book! Amy does an amazing job with breakfast, included. Sue makes sure you're well looked after.

Staff worked very hard. Amenities were great: sauna and unlimited tea/coffee plus mulled wine in the evenings. Breakfast was delicious.

A beautiful stay in a throw back “Inn” Will stay again for sure. A great addition to the Kimberley community.

The staff at the Larix are so friendly, down to earth, and very helpful. They really make you feel like family there. The hotel was warm and inviting. Beautifully furnished and decorated. So many surprise amenities like freshly baked cookies, complimentary drinks, s’mores and hot chocolate by the campfire, and of course, the relaxing barrel sauna. My family and I had such a wonderful stay. We want to come back again and again simply for the great vibe the Larix offers and to experience more of Kimberly.

For someone who travels constantly for work, this place is amazing. Quality all the way around: the hospitality makes you feel welcome, the ambiance is incredible, the small well thought out treats, and the kindness of the staff will put you at ease. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself right by staying at the Larix.

We’ve stayed at the Larix multiple times and have always enjoyed the decor, ambiance, friendly staff and pet friendliness. The rooms are comfy and clean. (The beds and pillows are a little soft for our liking but you definitely sink into the coziness). The breakfast and amenities are top notch. The location adjacent the Platzl is the best (especially for anyone that grew up in Kimberley ❤️) if you stay here, you’ll love it!

Kimberley is a great town for a weekend getaway and the Larix is the perfect cozy hotel with a European feel. The rooms have comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and while on the smaller side, still managed our luggage perfectly.

Fantastic stay, looked after every detail. Our go to hotel in Kimberly now.

Fabulous unique place - felt like home. Highly recomment

Very nice hotel. Excellent location. We found our room very warm. We did turn off the base heaters but it took hours to cool down. There was soft music playing in the hotel and throughout the night. It wasn’t loud,but loud enough to cause me to hear it and cover my head with a pillow. I’m not sure why the music had to be on all night? But, essentially a very nice hotel with attentive staff.

Great Room and location. Clean Rooms with courteous staff.
