Travelodge by Wyndham Calgary South

I travel every week for work. This was by far the worst stay I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t stay there for even one night because it was so dirty and unsanitary. Stay away from this place if you value not catching a serious disease. No exaggeration.

do not appear that any vacuuming had been done in the room or the hallway. I mentioned this to the staff upon checkout.

The beds were uncomfortable, the blankets were ridiculously thin, the breakfast was so bad, we had only 1 facecloth in our room?!?. The special details in this hotel are lacking to say the least. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Only one side ( two slices )of the four slice toaster was working Friday and still Monday. Someone should have bought a 4 slice toaster and solved the problem.

Accessibility I had a stay for 11 nights. Overall, my stay was good, but as a disabled person be sure to book an accessible room. When I first arrived I was in a regular room. I barley was able to fit my scooter in the room. I also was unable to fit my walker in the bathroom. The bed was also very high, that I would not be able to get into at night. When I brought this to their attention I was moved to the accessible room. Much better! Front desk staff where ok, when I asked for help some times it felt like I was pulling them away from something else they rather do. House keeping were amazimg!

Low end . Bathroom floor was rotten with a hole through at bath tub Rooms were hot Go somewhere else

The breakfast room had only two chairs per table . Soooo for a family of 4 coming in , there wasn’t enough seating . You either had to take from another table - leaving no chairs at that table or just not eat with your family and wait for something to be available . Usually hotels have great pillows but 1 pillow per person and not very fluffy was hard for sleeping .

Got this hotel for its excellent location. The place itself is rundown and quite old, so consider this as an option only if you're tight on budget. The bathtub was dirty but the rest of the room is clean. Decent stay.

Couch had stains looked like body fluids get it cleaned. Door seals were bad lots of light coming in. Replace them. Warm never got hot in shower like warm only

Odd smell in room. Didnt see where AC/heater worked. No tv at first until we called front desk to fix.

Room 256, Came to celebrate birthday in Calgary We found blood stain on bed and chocolate mini egg on the same bed. Asked front desk to do something she said I will give you sheets to change bed that was perfect example of hotels standard. Iron not working Side lamp not even attached to wall socket. Next day we were expecting stayover service to fix things but still nothing was done. Front desk asked the cleaning lady infront of us to clean the room at 3pm she refused right infront of our face. We checked out by 3:10 and still have photos of everything we witnessed. Refund our hard earned money and have better service.

Will never stay there again and will let anyone asking for accommodation in Calgary to not stay there.

It was very hot in our room, the A/C didn’t seem to make any difference. The place looked very sad and run down. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. The pool looked ok but we didn’t go in.

Booked a room for 5 people total double queen bedroom . Two adults one teenager,one toddler,and a 14 month old baby I’ve booked this room type of room multiple times since our baby was born as my teenager plays winter and summer sports all year round and have never had an issue like this before now!!! Got to the counter too check in very late in the evening 10.30 my littles were done late game and all! where they asked me how many people so I told them and they said they don’t have a room that will fit that many people and they said I needed to book a second room or cancel my reservation . I informed them the 14 month old baby will be sleeping in a crib that we bring along with us to hotels because he’s too small to sleep in a full size bed! That made no difference too them. They suggested I get a second room! I told them that will make no difference as the baby will still sleep in the crib no matter where we are. Zero help from then no other suggestions not an offer of a discount on a second room nothing at all!! Not it’s 10.45 at night with two small children one teenager that’s confused as to why this hotel is different then the last 20 we’ve stayed in!! I’ve stayed in lots of different hotels and I will never book one with this company again nor will anyone of the parents we travel with from now on! Apparently they being honest doesn’t help anymore!

I like the show rack at the entrance of the room, very practical.

No A/C, poor room quality, lack of communication between staff and rude employees during the day shift. Will not be staying here again.

Clean room

Super sketchy hotel. Not well maintained and smells of stale cigarette smoke. Staff was friendly though. Loud yelling and banging of doors until 4am so got no sleep.
