Muy bonito el parque y la vista al lago. La comida del restaurant estuvo muy buena, pero los precios son elevados, y es la única opcion para almorzar/cenar porque no hay absolutamente nada en los alrededores. Enero no es un buen momento para viajar porque está lleno de tabanos.

Cher, mais on frôle la perfection. Dommage que la douche-baignoire ne soit pas à la hauteur et que breakfast ne soit pas inclus dans ce prix. Le reste c’est parfait !!!

Peaceful place

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Not Recommended We arrived at Hotel Yelcho en la Patagonia at 8:20 pm after a long day, expecting a decent meal and reliable Wi-Fi based on their 3-star rating. During check-in, we were told the restaurant was fully booked and had no food left—not even bread or fruit. The receptionist was indifferent, leaving us with nothing to eat and suggesting a restaurant 30 minutes away, which was either closed or closing soon. Our cabin, booked as a family room via Expedia, was far from the hotel and in poor condition—spiderwebs, dust, bugs, and even hairballs. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, and we learned that it’s unreliable in the cabins due to a different provider, which was never mentioned before booking. I chose this hotel expecting to join two important online meetings, including a medical appointment, but was left without options. The so-called business centre was non-existent. The cabin lacked basic safety, with an electric gas heater dangerously close to a power socket using an unsafe extension. No phone in the cabin, no access to the QR code due to no signal, and no soundproofing as claimed—we could hear frogs all night. The only positive was Ignacia at the restaurant, who showed genuine kindness and brought us food despite everything. Sadly, her efforts couldn’t make up for the rest. Totally not worth the money. Avoid this place!

It’s a beautiful site, close to some major attractions and convenient if you have a car. The rustic park architecture has a warm feel and fits the location.

Hotel vecchio, a bisogno di ristrutturazione. Bagno piccolo, camera e bagno sporchi. Non consigliato.

Employees are great, the best! Breakfast excellent!

What a beautiful cabin we got. In front of the lake with mountains capped with snow.

La atención, en la recepción y en el comedor muy buena. La cabaña muy comoda, limpia y espaciosa, solo un pequeño problema con la tapa del inodoro. Pero todo lo demas muy bien.

Estuvo buena la estadía ne el hotel. Bien ubicado y buena atención. La limpieza buena aunque el baño no brillaba de limpio. Lo realmente malo fue la comida, para nuestra familia que somos de comer bien. Todo super rebuscado y pretencioso hecho por un chef que tiene mucha imaginación pero está demasiado mal logrado. Si no eres un chef muy bueno mejor hacer cosas sencillas y ricas. Eso nos hizo difícil la estadia sobre todo en las noches que realmente no podíamos comer ahí y en la zona hay muy poquita oferta. Solo son 2 menús y los dos igual de rebuscados. En el fondo trata de diferenciarse pero malo y siutico. Pollo con arroz, cazuela, cordero con papas, todo es mejor que un pescado caliente sobre una cama de hummus de porotos negros (que es eso?) frío y seco con salsas arriba de cualquier cosa. No se podía pedir nada que no fuera uno de los 2 menús.

Bonito hotel, con un paisaje maravilloso

The hotel is in a nice location by the lake, with a nice walk starting from the hotel that takes you to a viewpoint. This is probably the main appeal. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were both really nice. The room was a tad chilly but that seems to be normal in Chile. It was otherwise comfortable and everything in the room was fine. The lake view is quite obstructed by trees - not a problem since the trees are nice, but be aware of that if you really are looking for a lake view. The room did feel a little worn in some ways, like the window seat cushions. There were also some stains on the bedsheets, so I think they probably needed replacing. The wifi in the room was very weak, but we were also in a room far from the reception area, so maybe it's better in other rooms. We went to a communal lounge, where the signal was great. Staff were very nice and spoke decent English, too. They are clearly used to tourists. All in all, it was a nice hotel and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit this area.

All of the staff is incredibly attentive and anxious to make your stay in Patagonia special. The site is extrordinary along the side of the lake with a constantly changing panorama of mountains, clouds etc.

Tanto o hotel quanto o local são belos. Lamentamos o tempo chuvoso nos dois dias que passamos.
